E-3 Visa Telemetry RN Jobs
Telemetry RN roles qualify for E-3 visa sponsorship when the position requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an active U.S. state RN license. Hospitals across the U.S. file Labor Condition Applications directly with the DOL, making this one of the more straightforward specialty occupation paths for Australian nurses.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Telemetry RN
Verify your BSN meets specialty occupation
Your Australian nursing degree must be assessed as equivalent to a U.S. BSN for the E-3 specialty occupation requirement. Get a credential evaluation from a NCSBN-recognized body before applying, since some hospitals will not proceed without written equivalency documentation on file.
Obtain NCLEX and state licensure before interviewing
Most U.S. hospitals require a valid RN license in the state where you'll work before they'll file an LCA. Sitting the NCLEX and securing your state license first removes the biggest hiring barrier and signals you're ready to start without delays.
Target hospital systems with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Foreign Labor Application Gateway disclosure data for hospitals that have recently filed LCAs for RN roles. Facilities with existing E-3 or H-1B filing history are already familiar with the process and less likely to withdraw sponsorship over paperwork concerns.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service after your offer
Once you have a signed offer letter and certified LCA, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your DS-160, consulate preparation, and supporting documentation. This reduces back-and-forth with HR and keeps your start date on track.
Clarify the LCA wage level before accepting an offer
The DOL requires your employer to pay at least the prevailing wage for your telemetry RN role in that metro area. Ask HR to confirm the LCA wage level during negotiation so there are no surprises once USCIS reviews the petition.
Address E-Verify enrollment with HR before your start date
Your employer must be E-Verify enrolled to legally confirm your work authorization as an E-3 holder. Confirm this with HR during onboarding, since hospitals that have not enrolled yet will need to complete registration before your first day.

Find Telemetry RN JobsTelemetry RN E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Telemetry RN jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lists Telemetry RN roles from U.S. hospitals that have active E-3 and LCA filing history, so you can filter for employers already familiar with the sponsorship process. General job boards rarely flag E-3 sponsorship specifically, which makes searching by visa type directly far more efficient for Australian nurses.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Telemetry RN role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires a BSN or higher as a minimum entry requirement, not just a preference. Hospitals must document in the LCA that the role normally requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Roles listed as 'associate degree accepted' can create problems at the consulate, so confirm the job description before your employer files.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Telemetry RN positions?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so your employer can file any time of year and you can start within weeks of your consulate appointment. The H-1B selection rate has fallen below 25% in recent years, meaning most RNs relying on H-1B face a multi-year wait. For Australian nurses, the E-3 is the more reliable path by a significant margin.
Can I change hospitals while on an E-3 as a Telemetry RN?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL and you'll need to attend a new consulate appointment or file for a change of status before starting work. Unlike H-1B portability, the E-3 does not allow you to begin working for the new employer the moment the petition is filed. Plan for a two-to-six-week transition window.
