ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Floated adaptively across diverse telemetry and acute care units, providing direct, continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and intermediate-level nursing care to complex patient populations.
- Recognized, interpreted, and responded to subtle ECG abnormalities, lethal dysrhythmias, and rapid clinical deterioration, initiating immediate emergency protocols and interventions.
- Managed continuous cardiac telemetry, titratable vasoactive drips, IV therapies, and central lines while seamlessly adhering to varying unit-specific workflows and electronic health record systems.
- Integrated into fast-paced multidisciplinary teams on short notice, delivering safe medication administration, patient advocacy, and clear clinical handoffs across shift changes.
