Who's Hiring

Engineering Jobs in Tulsa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a engineering job in Tulsa?
Tulsa's strongest hiring comes from the energy sector, aerospace manufacturers along the 244 corridor, and industrial operations near the Port of Catoosa. Mechanical, civil, and petroleum engineers are in steady demand. Candidates who can point to field experience, project ownership, or familiarity with industrial safety standards stand out here. Targeting mid-size contractors and energy operators often yields faster traction than chasing the largest corporations.
Which companies hire engineerings in Tulsa?
Companies currently hiring engineerings in Tulsa include ONEOK, City of Tulsa, and NORDAM, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Tulsa's employer mix leans heavily toward energy firms, aerospace maintenance and repair operations, and regional infrastructure contractors.
Are there remote engineering jobs in Tulsa?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the discipline since hands-on roles in energy and manufacturing require on-site presence, while engineering analysts, project coordinators, and CAD-focused roles can work more flexibly. About 0% of engineering openings tied to Tulsa are remote or hybrid as of November 2026. Design, estimating, and software-adjacent engineering functions represent the largest share of those flexible postings locally.
How can I get a engineering job in Tulsa with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Tulsa is through internships or co-ops with regional energy companies and aerospace MRO operators, who recruit actively from Oklahoma State University and the University of Tulsa. Entry-level roles in quality control, field inspection, and drafting support frequently open to candidates without full work experience. Demonstrating hands-on technical training, even from coursework or personal projects, gives early-career candidates a concrete edge with Tulsa's industrial employers.
