Mid Level ERP Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level erp specialist job?
Position your experience around ownership, not just participation. Highlight modules you configured independently, cross-functional projects you drove, and measurable outcomes like reduced processing time or faster closes. Tailor your resume to the specific ERP platform listed in each posting, and be ready to speak to design decisions you made, not just tasks you completed.
Which companies hire mid level erp specialists?
Companies hiring mid level erp specialists right now include Amazon, Heartland Business Systems, and Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Mid-size manufacturers, professional services firms, and enterprise technology companies tend to hire most actively at this level, where hands-on platform depth matters more than management experience.
Are there remote mid level erp specialist jobs?
Yes, with strong availability. About 31% of mid level erp specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how much ERP configuration and support work can happen off-site. On-site roles still appear for implementations requiring close coordination with warehouse, finance, or manufacturing floor teams.
How do I move up to a mid level erp specialist role?
Growth from entry level into mid level comes from deepening ownership over time. Start by mastering one or two core modules, then take on full configuration cycles rather than just support tickets. Demonstrating that you can lead a small workstream, document decisions for future teammates, and deliver measurable process improvements signals readiness for a mid level title.
Which industries hire the most mid level erp specialists?
Mid Level erp specialist roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors share complex supply chains, multi-entity financials, or high transaction volumes that require experienced specialists to own system configuration rather than rely on vendor support alone.
