Entry Level Event Marketing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level event marketing manager job?
Employers hiring at the entry level prioritize hands-on experience over years on a resume, so internships, volunteer event coordination, and a portfolio showing real campaigns or logistics work carry significant weight. Demonstrating familiarity with event management software, vendor coordination, and basic budget tracking gives candidates a clear edge. Tailoring your application to show you can support event execution from planning through wrap-up is what most hiring managers want to see at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level event marketing managers?
Companies hiring entry level event marketing managers right now include Encore Global, Advantage Solutions, and CDS (Club Demonstration Services), based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from agencies, consumer brands, entertainment companies, and corporate marketing teams that need junior support for event programs and experiential campaigns.
Are there remote entry level event marketing manager jobs?
Yes, though most event marketing roles at this level involve some on-site work given the hands-on nature of event execution. About 0% of entry level event marketing manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, typically covering planning, vendor outreach, and administrative coordination rather than day-of event management.
Are these new grad event marketing manager jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior event marketing manager roles. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes candidates with zero to two years of experience and treats internships, campus event coordination, or a portfolio of marketing projects as qualifying background. Look for postings that list internship experience as acceptable or describe the role as a development opportunity.
Which industries hire the most entry level event marketing managers?
Entry Level event marketing manager roles concentrate in Insurance, Hospitality & Tourism, and Education, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they run recurring events, trade shows, and experiential campaigns that need junior coordinators to support planning and on-site execution year-round.
