Entry Level Marketing Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level marketing analyst job?
Start by building a portfolio that shows you can work with data, whether through a class project, internship, or a self-directed analysis of a brand you follow. Employers at this level look for candidates who know Excel or Google Sheets, have some exposure to analytics tools like Google Analytics, and can clearly explain what the numbers mean. A targeted resume that highlights those skills, even from coursework, gets noticed.
Which companies hire entry level marketing analysts?
Companies hiring entry level marketing analysts right now include Collabera, Analytic Partners, and Williams-Sonoma, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, from fast-growing startups building out their first analytics function to established consumer brands and agencies that run structured new grad hiring programs.
Are there remote entry level marketing analyst jobs?
Yes, though many entry level marketing analyst roles are still on-site or hybrid. About 26% of entry level marketing analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, which gives candidates outside major metro areas a real shot at roles they might not otherwise access. Remote availability tends to be higher at tech companies and digital-first organizations.
Are these new grad marketing analyst jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior marketing analyst roles. A posting is new grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or academic projects toward that requirement, or explicitly invites a portfolio in place of a long work history. If a listing says no experience required or encourages new grad applicants, it belongs here.
Which industries hire the most entry level marketing analysts?
Entry Level marketing analyst roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Banking & Financial Services, and Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors tend to drive the most hiring at this level because they rely on continuous campaign measurement, consumer data, and competitive analysis, which are tasks well suited to junior analysts building foundational skills.
