ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a key member of the Supply Chain, Distribution & Operational Excellence team, the Demand Planning Analyst I will support the development and maintenance of accurate demand forecasts that guide inventory strategies and supply chain operations. This individual will gather and analyze data, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to the improvement of planning processes. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow in the field of demand planning while supporting our mission to help customers and patients across the globe.
- Collect and organize data from internal and external sources to support forecasting activities, including sales history, pricing, promotions, and supply disruptions.
- Review historical sales trends to understand seasonality and demand patterns and assist in developing short- and medium-term forecasts.
- Maintain and update demand forecasting models and planning tools under guidance.
- Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and supply planning teams to gather inputs and support cross-functional alignment.
- Participate in discussions regarding forecast variances and contribute to basic root-cause analysis.
- Prepare routine reports and presentations to summarize demand insights for internal stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of related experience (forecasting, inventory management, supply chain, or business analytics).
- Basic understanding of forecasting concepts, statistical methods, and factors that influence demand.
- Working knowledge of ERP and planning systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas.
- Understanding of inventory metrics and supply chain fundamentals.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to interpret data clearly.
