INTRODUCTION
Liberty Resources is seeking a Self-Pay Account Representative to support patient account management and revenue cycle activities for our School-Based Health Services program. The Self-Pay Account Representative serves as a liaison between families, students, and school personnel while ensuring excellent customer service and accurate account management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage inbound and outbound calls regarding balances, billing statements, and payment options
- Collect and process patient payments
- Establish payment plans and financial agreements
- Assist patients and families with billing inquiries
- Document account activity and maintain accurate records
- Support month-end reporting and reconciliation processes
- Resolve customer service issues and account concerns
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's Degree preferred and/or medical billing and collections training
- Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- NextGen EHR experience preferred but not required
