Entry Level Technical Sales Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level technical sales manager job?
Focus on demonstrating two things: a baseline understanding of technical products and the ability to build client relationships. Internship experience in sales or a technical field gives you a concrete edge, but so does a history of hitting targets in any customer-facing role. Employers at this level often value coachability and communication skills over years on the job, so highlight both in your resume and interviews.
Which companies hire entry level technical sales managers?
Companies hiring entry level technical sales managers right now include TIMAC AGRO USA, RedBuilt, and Timac Agro, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. At this level, you'll find a mix of technology vendors, industrial suppliers, and growth-stage startups that prefer developing new talent rather than competing for experienced hires.
Are there remote entry level technical sales manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles still dominate at the entry level. About 46% of entry level technical sales manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, which gives candidates outside major metro areas a realistic shot at landing a first role without relocating.
Are these new grad technical sales manager jobs?
Yes. Many of the listings on this page are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome candidates with zero to two years of experience, internship backgrounds, or a portfolio of relevant coursework and projects. A new-grad-friendly posting typically skips hard experience minimums and instead asks for a degree, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn the product and sales process on the job.
Which industries hire the most entry level technical sales managers?
Entry Level technical sales manager roles concentrate in Manufacturing, Consulting & Professional Services, and Energy, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they sell complex or specialized products that require salespeople who can explain technical details to non-technical buyers, a skill that can be learned on the job.
