Entry Level Inside Sales Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level inside sales specialist job?
Focus on demonstrating communication skills, coachability, and comfort with sales tools like CRM platforms. Internship experience, campus sales roles, or even customer-facing retail work signals readiness to hiring managers. Tailor your resume to show measurable results, such as leads generated or calls completed, and be prepared to role-play a cold call or pitch during interviews, since many employers screen for this at the entry level.
Which companies hire entry level inside sales specialists?
Companies hiring entry level inside sales specialists right now include Gallagher, Erie Materials, and ABC Supply Co., based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. At this level, you'll find openings across a mix of fast-growing startups, established technology vendors, and regional service businesses that build out their sales teams with junior talent they can develop in-house.
Are there remote entry level inside sales specialist jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and industry. About 13% of entry level inside sales specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, making this one of the more flexible roles for new candidates. Many companies offer remote or hybrid arrangements because inside sales is phone and screen-based work that doesn't require a physical location.
Are these new grad inside sales specialist jobs?
Yes. These listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior inside sales specialist roles that explicitly welcome candidates with little or no prior experience. A new-grad-friendly posting typically mentions zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or campus involvement as a substitute for full-time history, or signals openness to a portfolio or demonstrated aptitude over a long work record.
Which industries hire the most entry level inside sales specialists?
Entry Level inside sales specialist roles concentrate in Distribution & Wholesale, Construction & Real Estate, and Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they rely on high-volume outbound or inbound sales motions that suit candidates who are early in their careers and can be trained quickly on products and processes.
