Mid Level Event Marketing Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level event marketing specialist job?
Position your existing experience around ownership, not just execution. Highlight campaigns or events you managed independently, decisions you drove, and measurable outcomes like attendance growth or lead volume generated. Tailor your resume to show cross-functional coordination and vendor management. Mid level hiring managers want to see that you can run a project without constant direction, so frame your experience through that lens.
Which companies hire mid level event marketing specialists?
Companies hiring mid level event marketing specialists right now include Dave & Buster's, KR Wolfe, and Amazon, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level covers a wide range of organizations, from enterprise brands with dedicated event teams to fast-growing companies building out their experiential marketing programs.
Are there remote mid level event marketing specialist jobs?
Yes, though remote availability varies by company and event type. About 11% of mid level event marketing specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with many roles offering flexible arrangements for the planning and strategy work while requiring on-site presence closer to event dates.
How do I move up to a mid level event marketing specialist role?
The path from entry level to mid level is built on deepening ownership over time. Start by taking on more responsibility within projects, managing vendor relationships, and leading logistics for smaller events independently. Demonstrating measurable impact, such as improved attendance or tighter budget execution, signals readiness. Developing skills in project management, audience engagement strategy, and post-event analysis accelerates the progression.
Which industries hire the most mid level event marketing specialists?
Mid Level event marketing specialist roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Retail, and Food & Beverage, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
