Oversee large, cross-functional programs; manage projects throughout their life cycle; and ensure accurate, timely reporting and budget requirements.

Job Duty 1 -
Serve as the program's main point of contact for internal stakeholders, faculty, and students; serve as liaison to appropriate campus business units to resolve operational matters; liaise with key points of contact within the center's ecosystem.



Job Duty 2 -
Develop and implement operating and administrative processes to manage day-to-day business operations consistent with Institute policies; define and communicate administrative staff duties; monitor performance and provide feedback. Manage HR functions for the team: hiring, immigration requirements, timekeeping, goals, and reviews.

Job Duty 3 -
Implement and execute the communications strategy, including center-wide tools such as Slack, websites, landing pages, SharePoint, Teams, AWS, regularly scheduled meetings, etc.

Job Duty 4 -
Ensure proper logistics, procedures, and support are in place for successful program operations; conduct administrative activities associated with program operations, such as procurement, records maintenance, compliance, NDAs, meeting arrangements and minutes, and document preparation.

Job Duty 5 -
Collect, verify, analyze data, and communicate results; Prepare various reports and data submissions, as necessary.

Job Duty 6 -
Develop and maintain relationships with advisory boards and stakeholder groups; participate in strategic planning and ensure implementation of key objectives and milestones.

Job Duty 7 -
Manage preparation of financial-related reports and schedules; Coordinate unit budget preparation, monitor, and prepare related reports.

Job Duty 8 -
Provide executive administrative management; manage activities to ensure a well-executed, highly complex schedule of daily activities; serve as primary scheduling contact with the campus and external community.

Job Duty 9 -
Manage events, symposia, and conferences, including evaluation/selection of venues and services, sponsor and volunteer relations, budgeting, logistics, and travel

Job Duty 10 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience



Required Experience
Six to eight years of job-related experience

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Technical Diploma in plumbing or a mechanical field

Preferred Skills

Experience with strategic planning/decision-making and aligning programmatic efforts to meet unit objectives.

Pay Range: $72,000-$80,000/yr.

The Program & Operations Manager Sr. for Living Learning Communities & Academic Partnerships provides leadership for the coordination, implementation, and assessment of Housing and Residence Life's academic engagement initiatives, living-learning communities (ex., Explore, Design Bloc, Grand Challenges, Honors Program), and residential academic partnerships with the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success and the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Education. This position collaborates with academic colleges, campus partners, and residential staff to strengthen the connection between students' academic and residential experiences while supporting initiatives such as the residential tutoring program, faculty integration into the residence halls, academic intervention programs, and the coordination and implementation of LLCs. The role supervises professional staff responsible for implementing academic engagement opportunities day-to-day. It develops and maintains strategic relationships with academic offices and campus partners critical to the success of LLCs and other residential academic partnerships, while assessing and evaluating programs and services to strengthen student belonging, connection, and academic success.

On-call Requirement: The successful candidate must live within an hour of Georgia Tech and participate in after-hours on-call support for live-on staff.
