Location: TeamMates Mentoring Program National Office (Lincoln, NE and Gretna, NE)
Basic Function and Responsibility
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides strategic leadership to advance the mission, ensure long-term sustainability, and strengthen the impact of the TeamMates Mentoring Program. Working in partnership with the Program and Foundation Boards, the CEO sets organizational direction, ensures financial strength, and builds key external relationships. The CEO also serves as the organization’s primary ambassador and supports fundraising efforts to sustain and grow the mission.

- Demonstrated passion for youth, education, and community impact.
- Experience in nonprofit leadership, education, or mentoring initiatives.
- Proven success in strategic planning, organizational growth, and long-term sustainability.
- Strong financial acumen, including oversight of budgeting and resource planning.
- Experience supporting or leading fundraising and donor engagement efforts.
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple governing boards and diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in business, education, public administration, or related field preferred.
