Sigma Terrazzo, Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly organized Terrazzo Project Manager to oversee commercial terrazzo projects from contract award through final completion. Reporting directly to the Vice President and Field Operations Manager, this position is responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, shop drawing coordination, change order management, invoicing, and field operations support.
The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of terrazzo systems, construction sequencing, and commercial project management. This individual must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong relationships with general contractors, architects, owners, suppliers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
The Terrazzo Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the high-quality standards that Sigma Terrazzo, Inc. is known for throughout the industry.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject Management
- Manage commercial terrazzo projects from award through final completion.
- Review and understand contracts, specifications, plans, addenda, and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
- Coordinate project activities with owners, architects, consultants, general contractors, and subcontractors.
- Identify potential project risks and develop solutions to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges impacting production, quality, safety, or profitability.
- Conduct project turnover meetings and regular project reviews.
Contract Administration
- Review project contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Prepare, track, and negotiate change orders.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals.
- Maintain complete and accurate project documentation throughout the life of the project.
Procurement and Material Management
- Coordinate procurement of terrazzo materials, divider strips, aggregates, epoxy systems, cementitious materials, and accessories.
- Ensure purchase orders are accurate and issued in a timely manner.
- Coordinate material deliveries to support project schedules and field operations.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to resolve material availability or delivery issues.
Financial Management
- Manage project budgets and ensure profitability goals are achieved.
- Track labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Review job cost reports and forecast project financial performance.
- Prepare and manage monthly billings, payment applications, and project invoicing.
- Assist with collections and outstanding receivables when necessary.
Field Operations Support
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure proper staffing and project execution.
- Conduct jobsite visits and inspections as necessary.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and NTMA standards.
- Assist in resolving field conflicts, scheduling issues, and construction challenges.
- Support field personnel with technical guidance and project requirements.
Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, architects, general contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Attend project meetings and provide status updates.
- Communicate schedule changes, project challenges, and solutions in a timely and professional manner.
Safety and Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and applicable OSHA regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and professionalism.
- Monitor project quality and ensure installations meet Sigma Terrazzo standards.
Leadership and Continuous Improvement
- Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and project staff.
- Assist in developing and improving company procedures and project management processes.
- Contribute to operational improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Additional Duties
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and ExperienceRequired
- Minimum five (5) years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of terrazzo, concrete, flooring, specialty finishes, or related trade experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and shop drawings.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and project management software.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, or related field.
- Knowledge of NTMA (National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association) standards and practices.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar project management platforms.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and navigate active construction sites.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to distinguish colors and materials for terrazzo installation review and quality control.
- Ability to drive to project locations as required.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
Work Environment
- Combination of office, warehouse, and active construction site environments.
- Frequent travel to local and regional project sites.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and active construction environments.
- Ability and willingness to work additional hours as necessary to meet project schedules and client commitments.
