Field Manager
Position Summary:
Quality Stone Veneer is seeking a self starter to learn to manage our Commercial and Residential Installation projects within our Southeastern Region. This will be a road warrior position and the coverage area will be primarily in NC and SC and periodically in the surrounding areas.
To start, the role will be a field manager that works very closely with our current Director of Operations. The Field Manager oversees all field-level installation activities for stone veneer projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. This role coordinates crews, manages jobsite logistics, ensures material readiness, conducts quality inspections, and serves as the primary field contact between installers, project management, and customers. You will carry a report of work to manage. You will do best possessing a background in construction, but the ability to learn with an open mind will serve you best. Location:
This position is preferred to be based out of the Charlotte/Mooresville, NC area. Office time will be minimal, you will work from your compan y assigned truck and should be comfortable with this. Most of your days will be spent behind the windshield.
Field Coordination:
Work in cooperation with the Director of Operations to meet QSV standards and goals.
· Oversee daily field operations for stone veneer installations across multiple job sites.
· Assign tasks to subcontractors; verify they understand project plans and specifications.
· Monitor crew productivity and ensure project schedules are met.
· Conduct jobsite walkthroughs to identify obstacles, delays, or adjustments needed.
· Collaborate with Director of Operations regarding labor, job supervision, and problem solving.
Quality Assurance:
· Inspect completed and in-progress stone veneer work to ensure adherence to specifications, standards, and manufacturer installation guidelines.
· Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
· Ensure project documentation, jobsite photos, and quality checklists are maintained.
· Facilitate communication between manufacturing, shipping, and field foreman when needs arise.
· Work in cooperation with Administrative Operations to ensure that administrative tasks are being completed in a timely and thorough manner that is supportive to Field Operations and other departments.
· Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of field supervision or installation experience in stone veneer, masonry, siding, or a related construction trade not required, but preferred.
· This is a safety-sensitive position, and a drug screen will be required prior to employment.
· Clean MVR
· Display proficient computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, outlook, teams)
· Communicate clearly (written and oral) in English.
· Travel locally is expected at start, growing into travel into other regions
· Communicate openly and regularly to employees, customers, and peers.
· Keen attention to Detail and forward thinking
· Able to understand invoicing projections
· Willing to do manual labor when needed
