BRAND AMBASSADOR / FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE — ADULT-USE BEVERAGE & SPECIALTY CPG (CALIFORNIA)

THE OPPORTUNITY

A premium California CPG brand is hiring an experienced Brand Ambassador / Field Sales Representative to grow distribution, build brand awareness, and support account growth across the state. If you've built relationships in spirits, wine, beer, or tobacco and you know how to win shelf space, earn buyer trust, educate accounts, and turn a cold account into a reorder, this is a role built for your skill set.

We make precision-crafted adult-use products — think infused beverages, ready-to-pour formats, and specialty syrups — for California's licensed, age-restricted retail channel. It's a regulated, relationship-driven category that rewards professionals who already understand compliance-sensitive selling, distributor dynamics, in-market education, and the rhythm of a well-run territory.

WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE

This is a natural next step if you come from:

• Wine, spirits, or craft beer distribution, brand ambassador, or field sales experience
• Tobacco or vape category management, route sales, or account education
• Premium beverage or specialty CPG brand-building
• Any age-restricted, license-bound category where relationships, education, and merchandising win

You already speak the language of buyers, distributors, and floor staff. You know how a regulated product moves from a pitch to a placement to a velocity story. We'll teach you the category specifics — you bring the relationship-building instincts, brand presence, and field execution.

• Own a California territory and grow it like your own business
• Open new licensed retail accounts and deepen the ones already on the books
• Run in-person buyer meetings, tastings, demos, and product education
• Build brand awareness with buyers, store teams, and consumers where appropriate
• Build and merchandise displays that move product off the shelf
• Support reorders by keeping accounts educated, engaged, and excited about the brand
• Hit revenue and market-share targets with a disciplined call cadence
• Track every account touch and keep a clean, organized pipeline
• Partner with leadership on new launches, promotional pushes, and account activations
• Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and in-market activations

WHAT YOU BRING

• A proven brand ambassador, outside-sales, or distribution track record in a regulated, age-restricted category
• Comfort with compliance-sensitive selling, account education, and licensed-channel rules
• Sharp communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• The ability to build trust fast and keep accounts engaged for the long haul
• Self-starter energy — you don't wait for a script
• Strong organization and time management
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for territory travel
