Field Service Technician (Military & Veteran Transition Friendly)

We are looking for a remote Field Service Technician based in the New England area to join our high-performing team.
Military veterans with backgrounds in mechanical, electrical, or avionics maintenance (such as Navy EM/ET, Army 91/15 series, Air Force 2A, or Marine Corps equivalents) are highly encouraged to apply!
The Schedule & Operational Rotation
- Structured Deployment Cycle: Enjoy a highly predictable on-call schedule consisting of a 10-day operational shift (Tuesday through Thursday of the following week) followed by 4 consecutive days off.
- Fully Managed Travel: Travel includes a pre-planned mix of local, regional, and international(Canada) assignments during your 10-day rotation. All travel arrangements are coordinated and pre-paid by the company.
Compensation & Perks
- Base Salary: Non-exempt, starting at $65,000/year with annual raises, performance promotions, and structural career growth.
- Total Expected First-Year Earnings: $80,000+ when factoring in generous overtime, daily per-diems, and travel stipends.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installations, preventative maintenance, and high-precision repairs on industrial safety systems.
- Conduct comprehensive equipment upgrades to maximize operational readiness for our customers.
- Execute rigorous testing protocols to diagnose and troubleshoot electromechanical system issues.
- Deliver professional, customer-focused communication directly to clients in the field.
Basic Requirements
- Demonstrated competence in troubleshooting electromechanical components.
- Prior electrical experience or training (military-acquired electrical ratings strongly preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with a client-centric attitude.
- Willingness to travel extensively during the 10-day operational shifts.
