Revenue Operations Manager Jobs in Massachusetts: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a revenue operations manager in Massachusetts?
Revenue operations manager is not a state-licensed role in Massachusetts, so there is no board exam or registration required. Most Massachusetts employers hire candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field combined with hands-on CRM and data analysis experience. Building proficiency in Salesforce or HubSpot, earning a recognized CRM or revenue operations certification, and gaining experience in a SaaS, life sciences, or financial services environment in the Greater Boston area will strengthen your candidacy significantly.
Which companies hire revenue operations managers in Massachusetts?
Employers hiring revenue operations managers in Massachusetts right now include Coupa, Cengage, and Foundry, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Massachusetts's deep concentration of SaaS, biotech, and financial services companies means demand for this role stays consistent throughout the year.
Which Massachusetts cities have the most revenue operations manager jobs?
Boston, Somerville, and Massachusetts have the most revenue operations manager openings in Massachusetts. Boston and Cambridge drive the largest share because of their high density of venture-backed SaaS companies, global biotech firms, and financial institutions, while Waltham and Burlington attract demand from the Route 128 technology corridor where many enterprise software and medtech companies have their commercial headquarters.
Are there remote revenue operations manager jobs in Massachusetts?
Yes, and more than most fields. Revenue operations is largely an analytical and systems-focused desk role, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 67% of revenue operations manager openings tied to Massachusetts are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly Massachusetts employers have embraced flexible work for go-to-market operations roles. Forecasting, CRM administration, and reporting work are the functions most commonly performed fully remote.
How can I get hired as a revenue operations manager in Massachusetts with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into RevOps from a closely adjacent role such as sales operations coordinator, marketing operations specialist, or CRM administrator, titles that large Massachusetts employers like HubSpot and Thermo Fisher routinely hire at the associate level. Building a portfolio of Salesforce or HubSpot configurations, dashboard builds, or process documentation gives candidates a concrete edge. Many Greater Boston SaaS and life sciences companies also bring on recent graduates through rotational commercial operations programs, where exposure to pipeline management and reporting creates a direct path to a revenue operations manager title within two to three years.
Where can I find and apply to revenue operations manager jobs in Massachusetts?
You can find and apply to revenue operations manager jobs in Massachusetts on Migrate Mate, which lists current Massachusetts openings across Boston, Cambridge, Waltham, and other hiring hubs in the state. Find a role that fits and apply directly from the listing.
