Green Energy Mechanical is a growing, family-owned residential HVAC and plumbing company seeking an experienced HVAC Warehouse & Fleet Manager to oversee warehouse operations, purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships, deliveries, and fleet coordination.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position requiring strong knowledge of residential HVAC and plumbing equipment and parts, excellent organization, flexibility, and a strong “can-do” attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Purchasing

• Take ownership of the day-to-day operation, organization, and functionality of the warehouse.
• Maintain an efficient system for receiving, organizing, inventorying, and staging equipment, parts, and materials.
• Purchase HVAC, plumbing, and related equipment and supplies required for sold jobs.
• Review upcoming jobs and work with the Sales Team to clarify missing or incomplete information before placing orders.
• Work closely with Production and office staff to ensure equipment and materials are ordered, received, and available when needed.
• Respond to technician requests for parts and materials throughout the day.
• Manage Purchase Orders, track orders, and follow up with vendors.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels while controlling costs and avoiding shortages.
• Ensure equipment and materials are properly staged for upcoming installations, service calls, deliveries, and pickups.

Vendor & Supply House Relationships

• Maintain strong working relationships with the HVAC and plumbing supply houses where the company does business.
• Establish new supplier relationships when needed and develop contacts that provide reliable availability, pricing, and service.
• Work with suppliers to resolve order issues, locate parts, and keep jobs moving.

HVAC & Plumbing Knowledge

• Strong residential HVAC knowledge is essential.
• Must be familiar with residential HVAC equipment, components, parts, and installation materials.
• Must be familiar with residential plumbing equipment, supplies, fittings, fixtures, valves, piping, and related materials.
• Ability to identify equipment and parts and recognize when additional information is needed before placing an order.

Driver & Delivery Coordination

• Supervise and coordinate the company driver.
• Manage pickups from supply houses and deliveries of equipment and materials to job sites.
• Prioritize and adjust deliveries based on installation schedules, technician needs, and changing priorities.

Fleet Coordination

• Work with the designated person responsible for fleet management to keep approximately 20 vehicles properly coordinated, tracked, and available.
• Coordinate inspections, oil changes, repairs, windshield replacement, and other maintenance, including directing technicians where vehicles need to go.
• Coordinate vehicle movement to and from repair and service facilities and maintain visibility of which vehicles are available or out of service.

What We're Looking For

• Strong residential HVAC industry knowledge and familiarity with HVAC and plumbing parts and equipment.
• Previous warehouse, purchasing, parts, inventory, materials management, or supply-house experience.
• Experience coordinating fleet or vehicle maintenance strongly preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain productive supplier relationships.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively with Sales, Production, technicians, drivers, vendors, and office staff.
• Comfortable learning and following company-specific purchasing procedures.
• Comfortable using ServiceTitan, Slack, purchasing/inventory systems, or similar technology.
• Valid driver's license required.
