We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections throughout the production process to ensure adherence to quality systems, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO standards.
- Interpret manufacturing and engineering documents, including mechanical blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), to accurately assess product conformity.
- Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments and ensure all equipment maintains calibration status for precise measurements.
- Analyze measurement data and inspection results to identify deviations from quality standards in production.
- Support root cause analysis for quality issues and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions aligned with regulatory/legal compliance standards.
- Assist in maintaining documentation related to quality control activities, inspection reports, and audit records for regulatory compliance purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with calibration and use of precision measuring instruments including height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and other dimensional measurement tools.
- Familiarity with mechanical blueprint interpretation, GD&T principles, and manufacturing documentation is essential.
- Ability to perform detailed analysis using basic math skills and interpret complex technical data accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards ensures thorough inspection processes.
- Excellent communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
