Job Summary:

The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that our parts meet customer specifications, internal quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role supports production by performing inspections, conducting tests, documenting results, and assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions to maintain high quality products and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspection dimensional and break test checks on molded part, components, and assemblies.

· Verify conformance to prints, specifications, control plans, and work instructions.

· Identify quality issues, trends, and nonconformances.

· Communicate any quality or production issues with the Supervisor, Quality Technician, and Process Technician.

· Assist in giving breaks to the production team.

· Ensure the correct documentation is at workstations and initiate action to correct and prevent errors.

· Create quality alerts, deviations, work instructions, etc.

· Ensure that the team packs good parts per work instructions.

· Participate in pre-shift meetings.

· Support corrective action and continuous improvement activities as directed by the Quality Manager or leadership team.

· Cover for Quality Technicians and Dimensional Technicians when they are absent.

· Assist with containment as a team member, when workload allows.

· Must be flexible to work at other plants or sorts at customers, etc.

· Willing to work overtime and cover other shifts as needed.

· Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.

· Follow company policies and 6S standards.

· Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· 90-day probationary period.

· Routinely exhibits the skills and attributes outlined in the job description.

· Has earned the trust and respect of team members.

· Previous experience in quality is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

· Ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds.

· Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.

· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
