Finance Administrator Jobs in Louisville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a finance administrator job in Louisville?
Target Louisville's three strongest hiring sectors: healthcare systems anchored in the Midtown Medical Corridor, regional financial services firms downtown, and the logistics and distribution companies based along the I-65 corridor. Candidates who combine accounts payable or receivable experience with proficiency in ERP platforms tend to stand out. Applying directly through employer career portals and being open to contract-to-hire roles at Louisville's larger institutions widens your options considerably.
Which companies hire finance administrators in Louisville?
Companies currently hiring finance administrators in Louisville include The Kidz Club, Trane Technologies, and ADP, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Louisville's employer mix skews toward large healthcare networks, regional insurers, and logistics firms, all of which maintain steady demand for finance administration support.
Are there remote finance administrator jobs in Louisville?
Yes, though availability depends on the role. Finance administrator work that involves vendor management, reporting, or system data entry tends to be remote-friendly, while positions tied to physical invoicing, cash handling, or on-site compliance checks are typically in-person. About 56% of finance administrator openings tied to Louisville are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. Downtown Louisville employers and regional healthcare operators are the most likely sources of hybrid arrangements.
How can I get a finance administrator job in Louisville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Louisville is through accounts payable or billing coordinator roles at one of the city's large healthcare networks or regional distribution companies, both of which hire junior finance support staff consistently. Community college accounting certificates from Jefferson Community and Technical College are recognized by many local employers and can replace a four-year degree at the entry level. Temp-to-hire placements through Louisville-based staffing agencies are another practical route into permanent finance administration roles.
Which industries hire the most finance administrators in Louisville?
Louisville finance administrator roles concentrate in Manufacturing, Energy, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
