How do I get a finance manager job in Nashville?
Target Nashville's three strongest hiring sectors: healthcare systems anchored along the West End corridor, entertainment and music-industry companies clustered downtown and in SoBro, and the financial services firms concentrated in Cool Springs and Brentwood. Candidates who combine financial modeling experience with industry-specific knowledge, whether that is healthcare reimbursement or royalty accounting, stand out in this market. Networking through CFO and controller communities in Nashville consistently shortens the search.
Which companies hire finance managers in Nashville?
Companies currently hiring finance managers in Nashville include Amazon, Amrize, and Oracle, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Nashville's employer base is a mix of large regional health systems, national corporations with Tennessee headquarters, and a growing number of private equity-backed mid-market businesses that staff finance teams locally.
Are there remote finance manager jobs in Nashville?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role. Finance manager positions involving close oversight of accounting teams, month-end close processes, or on-site operations tend to require in-person presence, while FP&A-focused and strategic planning roles are more commonly offered remotely. About 0% of finance manager openings tied to Nashville are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Healthcare and corporate services roles in Nashville skew toward hybrid arrangements rather than fully remote.
How can I get a finance manager job in Nashville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Nashville is moving up from a senior financial analyst or accounting manager role within a healthcare system or a corporate shared-services center, both of which are abundant locally. Employers such as large hospital networks and regional insurance companies in the Nashville area frequently promote from within or hire candidates with three to five years of analyst experience. Earning a CPA or CMA while in an analyst role accelerates that transition significantly in Nashville's finance hiring culture.
