DESCRIPTION
Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCCF) enables third-party merchants to use Amazon's fulfillment and delivery network to ship orders placed through their own sales channels. With the business growing, MCCF shipping costs represent a significant and rapidly scaling cost line that requires dedicated finance ownership.
We are looking for a Finance Manager to own MCCF shipping cost of goods sold (COGS) forecasting, planning, and analysis end-to-end. This role sits at the intersection of MCCF Finance, WW Operations Finance Transportation, and the Global Transportation Services (GTS) team, and owns MCCF's shipping cost story across all planning cycles.
The ideal candidate is a strong financial modeler with deep understanding of cost-per-package (CPP) economics, carrier mix dynamics, and supply chain cost drivers. They are comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, building analytical frameworks from scratch, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders including WW Ops Finance, GTS, and SCOT teams. This role reports into MCCF Finance and will be a key voice in VP-level planning reviews.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as the key finance partner for MCCF's shipping COGS, supporting leadership on end-to-end cost forecasting, planning, and variance analysis across a large and growing worldwide unit volume.
- Own the annual, quarterly, and monthly planning processes for MCCF shipping COGS, including OP1, OP2, and Q-Guidance cycles.
- Influence business decisions through effective verbal and written communication, data-driven variance analysis, and clear presentation of cost drivers, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Serve as MCCF's primary point of contact for WW Ops Finance Transportation on Shipping COGS reporting and allocation methodology.
- Drive month-end close deliverables including the MEC Flash, WBR, and VP-level reviews, translating shipping cost variances into clear business narratives with actionable next steps.
- Identify and close structural gaps in MCCF's parallel forecasting process, building scalable tools and templates that reduce manual effort and improve consistency across planning cycles.
- Support Cost to Serve (CTS) per unit tracking where shipping COGS is a key component, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives requiring integration of shipping cost assumptions.
- Perform various ad hoc analyses to help MCCF and Ops Finance leaders solve business problems and understand the financial implications of operational decisions.
- Thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with competing priorities across finance, operations, and technology teams.

Finance Manager Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a finance manager job in Seattle?
Target Seattle's highest-density hiring sectors: enterprise technology companies concentrated in South Lake Union, regional health systems based across the metro, and financial services firms in the downtown core. Candidates who stand out locally combine FP&A or business partnering experience with familiarity with high-growth environments, since many Seattle employers are scaling rapidly. Networking through CFO circles and local finance leadership communities strengthens your pipeline beyond applications alone.
Which companies hire finance managers in Seattle?
Employers hiring finance managers in Seattle right now include Amazon, Deloitte, and Blue Origin, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's employer mix skews toward large tech firms, regional healthcare systems, and mid-size companies in professional services and retail, all of which maintain active finance teams across multiple seniority levels.
Are there remote finance manager jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though availability depends on the role: analytical and FP&A-focused positions are more remote-friendly than treasury, controllership, or operations finance roles that require on-site presence. About 15% of finance manager openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the tech sector's generally flexible policies. Strategic planning and reporting roles at Seattle's larger tech employers tend to offer the most hybrid flexibility.
How can I get a finance manager job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is moving up from a senior financial analyst or finance business partner role at a mid-size tech or healthcare company, where promotion cycles are faster than at legacy firms. Seattle's many high-growth technology companies and regional health systems regularly hire candidates into stretch finance manager roles when they show strong modeling skills and cross-functional communication. Rotational finance programs at larger Seattle employers are also a direct pipeline into management.
Which industries hire the most finance managers in Seattle?
Seattle finance manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Retail, and E-Commerce & Online Marketplaces, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's outsized technology sector, anchored by major enterprise software and cloud companies in South Lake Union and Bellevue, drives a disproportionate share of that demand compared with most other U.S. metros.
