Front Desk Agent Jobs in Orlando: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a front desk agent job in Orlando?
Orlando's hospitality-heavy economy means the strongest hiring comes from resort hotels along International Drive and Lake Buena Vista, theme park-adjacent properties, large healthcare networks, and corporate office parks in the Sand Lake and Maitland Center areas. Candidates who have experience with high-volume check-ins, property management software like Opera, and bilingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese stand out in this market.
Which companies hire front desk agents in Orlando?
Companies currently hiring front desk agents in Orlando include HEI Hotels & Resorts, Remington Hospitality, and Auro Hotels, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Orlando's employer mix leans heavily toward major hotel brands, resort properties, healthcare systems, and commercial real estate operators, all of which maintain ongoing front desk hiring year-round.
Are there remote front desk agent jobs in Orlando?
Yes, though remote opportunities are limited by nature since most front desk agent roles require on-site presence to greet guests or patients. About 0% of front desk agent openings tied to Orlando are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those tend to be concentrated in virtual receptionist roles for corporate offices or medical practices rather than hotel or resort positions.
How can I get a front desk agent job in Orlando with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Orlando is through the city's extensive hospitality sector, where large resort and hotel operators frequently hire for front desk trainee and guest services associate roles that assume no prior experience. Universal Orlando, major hotel chains on International Drive, and AdventHealth's outpatient clinics are known to onboard entry-level candidates and train on internal systems. A friendly demeanor, basic computer skills, and open availability across evenings and weekends make a measurable difference with local hiring managers.
