We are seeking an experienced and highly organized General Superintendent/Superintendent to lead construction projects for a reputable general contractor. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction sites, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent construction management software
- Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols such as OSHA standards and quality control measures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and perform construction estimating to ensure financial targets are met
- Review contracts and change orders, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements
- Implement project management best practices using tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other construction management software
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and resolve issues promptly
- Supervise and mentor site personnel and subcontractors; oversee staffing levels and productivity
- Coordinate with project managers on procurement activities including pipeline management and material scheduling
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary to ensure system integrity
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction management, with a proven track record supervising large-scale projects
