Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Clinical Case Manager
Credential your degree for PERM compliance
PERM requires your foreign degree to be evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's or master's in social work, nursing, or a related field. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-member agency before your employer starts the labor certification process.
Target health systems with E-Verify enrollment
Employers sponsoring PERM-based green cards must comply with federal employment verification. Prioritizing E-Verify-enrolled health systems and managed care organizations filters for employers already set up to hire and retain foreign professionals long-term.
Search EB-3 sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Clinical Case Manager roles by employers with active green card filing history. This cuts out guesswork and surfaces the specific health systems and payers that have sponsored similar positions through PERM before.
Ask about the prevailing wage tier during interviews
DOL assigns a prevailing wage level for your position using OFLC Wage Search data. Confirm your offered salary meets at least Level I or II before accepting an offer, since the employer must certify this wage in the PERM application.
Distinguish EB-2 and EB-3 with your licensure status
Clinical Case Manager roles requiring an MSW or a clinical license often support EB-2 eligibility. Roles requiring only a BSN or a generalist bachelor's typically fall under EB-3. Your current licensure and the job description's stated requirements both factor into which category your employer files under.
Account for PERM recruitment timing in your job search
PERM labor certification requires the employer to complete DOL-mandated recruitment steps, which typically add three to six months before USCIS even sees the I-140 petition. Build this into your timeline so a current work authorization gap doesn't disrupt the process.

Find Clinical Case Manager JobsClinical Case Manager Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Do Clinical Case Manager roles typically qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
It depends on the specific job requirements. Positions that require an MSW or a clinical license and specialized practice skills often support EB-2. Roles that list a BSN or a general bachelor's as the minimum typically qualify under EB-3. The employer's job description and the DOL's occupational classification both shape which category applies to your offer.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
PERM-based green card sponsorship leads to permanent residency, not a temporary status. There's no annual lottery, and EB-3 has no numerical cap concerns for many countries, though per-country backlogs apply. The process takes longer than an H-1B filing, but the outcome is lawful permanent residency rather than a visa that expires or requires repeated renewals.
Can I find Clinical Case Manager jobs with green card sponsorship on Migrate Mate?
Yes. Migrate Mate lets you filter Clinical Case Manager listings by employers with documented EB-2 or EB-3 filing history, so you're targeting health systems and payers that have already sponsored similar roles through PERM. That's more reliable than asking employers cold whether they sponsor, because the filing history is verifiable.
What does the PERM labor certification process require for a Clinical Case Manager position?
The employer must complete DOL-mandated recruitment steps, including job postings and documented candidate review, to show no minimally qualified U.S. workers were available. Once DOL certifies the application, the employer files an I-140 immigrant visa petition with USCIS. You can then apply for adjustment of status or consular processing depending on your current immigration status and your priority date.
Does my foreign clinical credential affect my green card eligibility as a Case Manager?
Yes. PERM requires your foreign degree to be evaluated as equivalent to the U.S. degree the job posting requires. A credential evaluation from a NACES-member agency establishes that equivalency for the DOL's review. If your degree is in social work or a clinical field and the evaluation supports a master's equivalency, it can also strengthen an EB-2 classification argument.
