Sector focus: Consumer Products, Retail, Life Sciences, Industrial Products and Mobility
About Sales & Strategic Pursuits (S&SP)
EY's Sales & Strategic Pursuits (S&SP) function unites sales leadership, sector insight, technology expertise and solution depth to drive market-leading growth. As EY's growth catalyst, S&SP shapes and executes integrated go-to-market strategies across priority accounts, industry sectors and strategic alliances, delivering differentiated value through a deeply client-centric culture.
The opportunity
As a Functional Supply Chain Alliance Sales Executive (SE), you will operate at the front edge of growth across EY's alliance ecosystem. This is a true sales hunter role focused on originating net-new opportunities, building pipeline and closing EY services revenue through deep partnership with Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions and ServiceNow, as well as direct engagement with clients and EY account teams.
You will be a market-facing, quota-carrying executive seller with deep functional expertise across supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, logistics, fulfillment and frontline workforce transformation. You will create demand rather than simply respond to it, identifying whitespace, shaping transformational conversations and positioning alliance-powered EY solutions that address complex supply chain and manufacturing challenges.
The role is cross-sector, with priority focus on Consumer Products, Retail, Life Sciences, Industrial Products and Mobility. Success requires the ability to connect functional supply chain priorities to the capabilities of multiple alliance platforms and to orchestrate the right combination of EY services, sector knowledge and partner technology.
Key responsibilities
Sales origination and execution
- Relentlessly originate net-new, alliance-powered services pipeline by identifying unmet client needs, emerging priorities and transformation opportunities.
- Drive sales across three core channels: direct client origination, alliance partner field-led co-sell motions and EY account team-led pursuits.
- Lead early-stage opportunity identification and qualification, shaping pursuits from signal detection and discovery through deal maturation, win strategy and close.
- Deliver against defined sales, origination and pipeline goals, maintaining disciplined opportunity management, forecasting and paths-to-plan.
- Build senior client relationships and lead consultative conversations with supply chain, operations, manufacturing, technology and enterprise transformation executives.
- Provide market intelligence and guidance across the sales cycle, including buyer priorities, competitive positioning, partner dynamics, win themes and pursuit strategy.
Alliance leadership and ecosystem orchestration
- Build trusted relationships across Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions and ServiceNow field sales, industry, solution and alliance leadership teams so EY is positioned as a preferred transformation partner.
- Evangelize EY's alliance-powered supply chain and manufacturing offerings, credentials and points of view with partner sellers, clients and EY teams.
- Shape joint account plans and go-to-market motions, influence partner investment toward EY-led pursuits and create repeatable plays across priority sectors and accounts.
- Serve as the connective tissue across multiple alliances, identifying multi-partner opportunities and orchestrating complementary platforms and services around client outcomes.
- Be the face of the priority supply chain alliances within EY's functional and sector communities, and the face of EY to relevant partner field and industry teams.
Functional and sector impact
- Translate supply chain and manufacturing strategy into executable transformation opportunities spanning planning, inventory, logistics, fulfillment, manufacturing operations, maintenance, quality, workforce enablement and operational visibility.
- Bring manufacturing-industry credibility and knowledge of the operating models, regulatory considerations, network dynamics and value levers relevant to Consumer Products, Retail, Life Sciences, Industrial Products and Mobility.
- Connect alliance capabilities to sector-specific outcomes, including resilient planning, improved service and availability, inventory and working-capital performance, manufacturing productivity, quality, compliance, workforce effectiveness and faster decision-making.
- Work with EY sector, account and capability leaders to prioritize accounts, activate differentiated offerings and build integrated teams for pursuits.
Alliance solution focus
The SE will bring sufficient functional fluency to identify, shape and sell opportunities involving:
- Blue Yonder: supply chain planning, demand and supply orchestration, inventory optimization, logistics, warehouse and transportation capabilities, and fulfillment transformation.
- o9 Solutions: integrated business planning, digital supply chain planning, scenario modeling, decision intelligence and cross-functional planning transformation.
- ServiceNow Industrial Connected Workforce (ICW): digitized frontline tasks, captured knowledge, standardized workflows, AI-assisted decision-making, predictive insights and connected operational execution across manufacturing environments.
- Multi-platform environments: the ability to position these solutions within a broader ERP, MES, CMMS, data, cloud and AI landscape and to identify where alliance combinations create differentiated client value.
AI-enabled selling and innovation
- Infuse AI into account research, intelligent prospecting, opportunity prioritization, pattern recognition, storytelling, proposal shaping and pursuit orchestration.
- Champion AI-enabled EY and alliance solutions with credibility, connecting technology capabilities to measurable supply chain and operations outcomes.
- Serve as a role model for modern AI-forward sales execution and help elevate sales effectiveness across pursuit teams.
Skills and attributes for success
- Hunter mindset with a strong bias for action, curiosity, persistence and discipline follow-through.
- Deep functional knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing operations, combined with the ability to translate technology into enterprise business outcomes.
- Exceptional executive presence and the ability to influence senior client, EY and alliance partner stakeholders without direct authority.
- Consultative selling style and the credibility to operate as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional seller.
- Proven ability to navigate a highly matrixed, alliance-driven environment and mobilize cross-service-line, cross-sector and multi-partner teams.
- Strong commercial judgment, pipeline discipline, storytelling and ability to shape complex transformation pursuits.
- Comfort using data and AI insights to guide decisions, account strategies and executive conversations.
To qualify, you must have
- 10+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in professional services, technology and/or enterprise solutions.
- Demonstrated success as a net-new business hunter, with experience across prospecting, discovery, qualification, pursuit shaping and winning complex supply chain solutions.
- Direct experience selling supply chain, manufacturing, operations or digital transformation services to large enterprise clients.
- Meaningful experience in manufacturing and experience serving clients in one or more of the following sectors: Consumer Products, Retail, Life Sciences, Industrial Products and Mobility.
- Functional expertise across supply chain planning and execution, with sufficient depth to engage senior business and technology buyers.
- Working knowledge of Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions and/or ServiceNow, with the ability to develop deep expertise and relationships across all three partner ecosystems.
- Understanding of cloud, SaaS/PaaS, data, AI and integration considerations across ERP, MES, CMMS and other supply chain and manufacturing systems.
- Experience positioning complex, multi-stakeholder digital, technology and/or managed services transformations to C-suite executives.
- Exceptional client relationship management, executive communication and influencing skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Ideally, you'll also have
- Established relationships within Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions or ServiceNow field and industry teams.
- Experience at a Big Four firm, global systems integrator, enterprise software company or supply chain technology provider.
- Technical, architecture, consulting delivery or program leadership experience.
- Experience selling integrated business planning, supply chain planning, logistics, manufacturing operations, connected worker or operational workflow transformations.
- Strong coaching and mentoring capability and proven team-selling experience across alliances and solution teams.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Strategic Alliance Manager
Document your degree's business alignment
PERM requires your degree field to match the job's specialty occupation. A marketing or international business degree maps cleanly to alliance management. If your degree is in an adjacent field, gather transcripts and a credential evaluation showing direct relevance before you apply.
Target companies with PERM filing history
Alliance management roles at mid-to-large technology, healthcare, and enterprise software companies generate the most PERM activity. Search the DOL's OFLC disclosure data by job title to identify employers who have previously certified similar positions, then prioritize those in your outreach.
Use Migrate Mate to filter sponsoring employers
Filtering by green card sponsorship history saves weeks of manual research. Migrate Mate lets you search Strategic Alliance Manager roles by employers with active EB-2 and EB-3 PERM filing records, so every application you send goes to a company already set up to sponsor.
Negotiate job duties before PERM is filed
DOL requires the PERM job description to reflect actual daily duties, not a generic posting. Before your employer files, review the draft description and confirm it accurately reflects your scope. Misaligned descriptions are a common cause of audits and delays at the certification stage.
Understand EB-2 versus EB-3 classification for this role
If the position requires a master's degree or you hold one and the employer is willing to document it, EB-2 may shorten your wait considerably for most countries. Roles requiring only a bachelor's degree default to EB-3, which still qualifies but carries longer priority date backlogs for certain nationalities.
Request concurrent I-140 and I-485 filing when eligible
Once your employer's PERM is certified and an EB-2 or EB-3 visa number is immediately available for your country, USCIS allows concurrent filing of the I-140 petition and I-485 adjustment of status application. Concurrent filing lets you access work authorization and travel benefits while the I-140 is still pending.
Green Card Strategic Alliance Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Strategic Alliance Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Both categories are available depending on how the employer structures the position. EB-2 applies when the role genuinely requires a master's degree or its equivalent, which some senior alliance roles do. EB-3 covers positions requiring a bachelor's degree, which is the standard minimum for most Strategic Alliance Manager jobs. Your employer's attorney documents the educational requirement in the PERM filing.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for a Strategic Alliance Manager?
H-1B visa is a temporary status capped at 65,000 per year and subject to a lottery. EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship has no annual lottery and leads to permanent residency. The trade-off is time: PERM labor certification can take six to eighteen months before the I-140 is even filed. For most countries except India and China, EB-3 priority dates are current or close to current, making the total timeline shorter than it looks on paper.
What does the PERM process require from a Strategic Alliance Manager candidate?
Your employer must conduct a supervised recruitment campaign, advertise the role publicly, and demonstrate no qualified U.S. worker applied. You need to meet the minimum requirements stated in the PERM job description, typically a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. DOL audits are common for business and management roles, so your credentials and the job description need to align precisely before the employer submits.
How do I find Strategic Alliance Manager jobs where employers will sponsor a green card?
The most efficient approach is filtering directly by PERM filing history rather than applying broadly and asking later. Migrate Mate lets you search Strategic Alliance Manager positions by employers with documented EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship records, so you can focus your effort on companies already set up to sponsor foreign professionals rather than relying on recruiters to confirm sponsorship willingness upfront.
Can I change employers after my green card sponsorship process has started?
Yes, with caveats. If your I-140 has been approved for 180 days or more and your I-485 has been pending for at least 180 days, AC21 portability lets you move to a same or similar role with a new employer without restarting the process. Alliance management, channel partnerships, and business development roles are often close enough in SOC classification to qualify. Confirm the new role's job duties match before you resign.
