Job Summary
Equinix is seeking an AMER Sales Strategy & Operations Manager to own the forecasting infrastructure, data analytics, and operational reporting that power the region's revenue decisions. In this high-visibility role, you will sit at the intersection of data, process, and strategy — translating complex pipeline and performance signals into clear, executive-ready narratives that help AMER Sales Leaders act faster and more confidently. You will be responsible for driving Clari and Salesforce excellence, enforcing the E.D.G.E. methodology, and partnering directly with Business Partners and regional Sales Leaders to build a more predictable, insight-driven revenue engine.
Responsibilities
Forecasting & Reporting:
- Support the AMER regional forecast end-to-end: consolidate territory inputs into a single regional view, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clear commentary on key drivers, risks, and opportunities by product and Data Center
- Develop and maintain executive-ready materials for leadership reviews, forecast discussions, planning cycles, and strategic updates
- Set and enforce forecasting governance across the AMER SalesOps team: methodologies, assumptions, data standards, and review cadence
- Constructively challenge territory leaders' forecasts — identifying assumption gaps, outliers, and areas requiring further explanation
- Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, comparability, and predictability through better process, analytics, and operating discipline
- Support pipeline hygiene initiatives, ensuring SFDC data quality underpins reliable forecast outputs
Data Analytics:
- Design, build, and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards that give AMER Sales Leaders and Business Partners self-serve visibility into pipeline, performance, and forecast trends
- Enable Sales on available dashboard functionality — ensuring leaders and reps know how to use the tools built for them, reducing dependency on the SalesOps team for routine lookups
- Monitor AMER performance metrics continuously; identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the revenue base and translate them into clear, actionable insights with direct revenue implications
- Present revenue performance and outlook to senior leadership with clarity, confidence, and a consistent point of view
Business Partner & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to AMER Business Partners and Sales Leaders on all elements of forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management — bringing proactive insight, not just reactive support
- Engage with Territory and Regional senior leadership on key strategic initiatives and programs; represent the AMER region with credibility and preparation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all CRO teams are aligned — including Marketing, Customer Success, Channel, Revenue Operations, Compensation, and Enablement
- Consult on the execution of the AMER E.D.G.E. Methodology and help operationalize at the territory level, working directly with Business Partners to embed the framework into daily operating rhythms
Strategic Initiatives:
- Represent the AMER region in cross-functional programs and initiatives related to pipeline generation, funnel hygiene, and revenue operations effectiveness
- Lead regional cross-functional projects targeted at improving forecast accuracy, pipeline management, and sales productivity — from problem definition through implementation and measurement
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance reporting efficiency and operational clarity; build interim reporting solutions where permanent infrastructure is not yet in place
- Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis; present findings and recommended next steps to leadership with a clear point of view on impact and ROI
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or a high-performance sales environment — with demonstrated ownership of forecasting and reporting at scale
- Advanced Salesforce.com proficiency: ability to independently build reports and dashboards, manage report types, and troubleshoot data quality issues without admin support
- Advanced Clari proficiency: hands-on experience with dashboard configuration, forecast logic, and driving adoption of forecasting methodology across a sales organization
- Deep expertise in revenue forecasting, pipeline management, scenario planning, and executive reporting — including experience governing a forecast process end-to-end
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data analysis and sales performance metrics; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets modeling; SQL or BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker) a plus
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills: ability to turn complex pipeline and performance data into concise, executive-ready narratives with a clear recommendation
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills — comfortable constructively challenging assumptions and driving accountability with Sales Leaders and senior management

Document your strategic impact with metrics
PERM requires your employer to define the role's minimum requirements precisely. Gather quantifiable examples of cost savings, process improvements, or revenue outcomes you've driven so your credentials clearly meet the job description USCIS and DOL will scrutinize.
Target employers with PERM filing history
Not every company that hires Strategy Operations Managers has run a PERM campaign before. Search OFLC disclosure data to identify employers who have certified this specific role, cutting your odds of sponsoring an inexperienced employer through a first-time filing.
Search verified sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Filtering job postings by green card sponsorship history saves weeks of dead-end applications. Migrate Mate surfaces employers with confirmed EB-2 and EB-3 filing records for operations and strategy roles, so you can prioritize outreach before the formal interview stage.
Clarify EB-2 versus EB-3 eligibility early
Strategy Operations Manager roles often qualify under both EB-2 (if the position genuinely requires a master's degree or equivalent) and EB-3 (bachelor's plus experience). Ask the hiring team which category they intend to file under before accepting an offer, since it affects your priority date and wait time.
Confirm the prevailing wage tier with the OFLC Wage Search
DOL assigns a wage level from I to IV based on duties and supervisory scope. Verify your offered salary meets at least the Level II prevailing wage for your metro area before your employer files the LCA, since a wage deficiency can derail the entire PERM application.
Negotiate PERM filing timing into your offer letter
Employers are not required to begin PERM immediately after hiring. Push to have a target filing date written into your offer or onboarding agreement so the process doesn't stall after you start, which is common in companies without a dedicated immigration program.
Green Card Strategy Operations Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Strategy Operations Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
It can qualify under either category, depending on how the employer defines the role's minimum requirements. EB-2 applies when the position genuinely requires a master's degree or its equivalent. EB-3 covers roles requiring a bachelor's degree plus relevant experience. Employers must document whichever requirement they choose consistently throughout the PERM recruitment process, so the job description they post publicly must match what USCIS ultimately receives.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for this role?
H-1B visa is a temporary status tied to annual lottery selection, while PERM-based green card sponsorship leads to permanent residency with no annual cap at the EB-3 level for most countries. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM recruitment and DOL certification alone typically take six to twelve months before your employer files the I-140. For nationals of India and China, priority date backlogs add years, but for most other countries EB-3 green cards remain relatively current.
What does the PERM recruitment process look like for a Strategy Operations Manager position?
Your employer must conduct a good-faith recruitment campaign following DOL rules, including job postings, internal notices, and advertisements across specified channels. The goal is to demonstrate no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role. The job requirements posted during recruitment must match the PERM application exactly, which is why aligning on your specific duties and minimum qualifications before the process starts is critical.
How can I find employers actively sponsoring green cards for this role?
Migrate Mate lets you search for Strategy Operations Manager jobs filtered by employers with confirmed EB-2 and EB-3 PERM filing history. This removes the guesswork of cold-applying to companies that have never run a green card sponsorship before, and helps you focus outreach on hiring managers already familiar with the PERM process and its costs.
Can I switch employers after my I-140 is approved but before I have a green card?
Yes, under AC21 portability rules you can change employers if your I-485 has been pending for at least 180 days and the new role is in the same or similar occupational classification. For Strategy Operations Manager roles, moving to a comparable operations or planning position at a new company generally qualifies, but you should document the similarity carefully and notify USCIS of the change.
