H-1B1 Chile Visa Business Analyst Jobs
H-1B1 Chile visa sponsorship lets Chilean nationals work as Business Analysts in the U.S. without entering the H-1B lottery. With a 1,400-visa annual cap that rarely fills and consulate processing instead of USCIS petitions, qualified analysts can move from offer to visa stamp faster than most work visa routes allow.

Company Description
It started with a simple idea: what if surgery could be less invasive and recovery less painful? Nearly 30 years later, that question still fuels everything we do at Intuitive. As a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care, our technologies—like the da Vinci surgical system and Ion—have transformed how care is delivered for millions of patients worldwide.
We’re a team of engineers, clinicians, and innovators united by one purpose: to make surgery smarter, safer, and more human. Every day, our work helps care teams perform with greater precision and patients recover faster, improving outcomes around the world.
The problems we solve demand creativity, rigor, and collaboration. The work is challenging, but deeply meaningful—because every improvement we make has the potential to change a life.
If you’re ready to contribute to something bigger than yourself and help transform the future of healthcare, you’ll find your purpose here.

- Reduced operational and regulatory risk
- Conduct current-state and future-state analysis across core legal workflows, including:
- Contract lifecycle management (intake, authoring, negotiation, approval, signature, repository)
- Outside counsel and matter management
- Legal spend and accrual tracking
- Compliance and policy management
- Privacy operations (DSAR workflows, data processing records)
- Intellectual property tracking
- Litigation support and document management
Legal Systems Ownership & Roadmap Accountability
- Act as the designated system owner for assigned legal applications (e.g., CLM, eBilling/matter management, DMS, eSignature, compliance tools).
- Own backlog prioritization in partnership with Legal Ops.
- Define release strategy and manage enhancements lifecycle.
- Lead vendor evaluation, selection, and performance management.
- Ensure systems support legal-specific constraints, including:
- Attorney-client privilege
- Confidentiality requirements
- Ethical walls
- Data retention and legal hold obligations
- Regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
Technical Design, Configuration & Integration
- Translate complex legal requirements into scalable system configurations and workflows.
- Perform hands-on configuration of supported platforms (fields, workflows, templates, permissions, automation rules).
- Define and document functional and technical specifications.
- Design and oversee integrations between legal systems and enterprise platforms (ERP, HRIS, CRM, collaboration tools).
- Partner with architects and developers to design APIs, data models, and automation patterns.
- Own system data integrity, governance alignment, and role-based security models.
- Evaluate downstream enterprise impact of system changes.
This role maintains strong technical accountability without serving as a software engineer.
Project Leadership & Change Enablement
- Lead end-to-end implementations from discovery through go-live and stabilization.
- Facilitate executive-level workshops and decision-making forums.
- Drive UAT strategy, test case design, and acceptance criteria validation.
- Develop adoption strategies, training plans, and documentation.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise IT governance and change control processes.
Reporting, Analytics & Risk Management
- Define and deliver reporting solutions supporting Legal KPIs and executive dashboards.
- Improve transparency into:
- Contract velocity and bottlenecks
- Legal spend trends
- Matter volume and risk exposure
- Ensure data supports audit defensibility and regulatory inquiries.
- Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure systems reinforce internal controls.

Verify your degree matches the SOC code
Business Analyst roles span multiple SOC codes, and your degree field must align with the specific occupation your employer lists on the LCA. A finance degree supporting a financial analyst role clears consular review more cleanly than a general management degree for the same title.
Pull your prevailing wage before negotiating
Run the OFLC Wage Search for your target metro area before your first salary conversation. Your employer's LCA must certify wages at or above the DOL prevailing wage, so knowing the threshold helps you negotiate from the right floor and avoids offer letters that can't survive the filing.
Target employers already filing H-1B1 Chile LCAs
Most companies familiar with H-1B sponsorship haven't filed an H-1B1 Chile LCA before. Use Migrate Mate to filter for employers with H-1B1 Chile filing history, so you spend your time on companies whose HR and legal teams already know the process.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
Consular officers assess whether Business Analyst qualifies as a specialty occupation case by case. Gather your degree transcripts, a detailed job description showing analytical methodology requirements, and any professional certifications before your employer begins the LCA, not after.
Confirm your employer can file the LCA without PERM
The H-1B1 visa Chile visa does not require PERM labor certification, which removes months of processing from the timeline. Make sure your employer's immigration counsel knows this distinction, since attorneys unfamiliar with H-1B1 Chile sometimes initiate PERM unnecessarily for Business Analyst roles.
Check the O*NET profile to frame your specialty occupation argument
The O*NET profile for Business Analyst lists the specific knowledge domains and educational requirements that support a specialty occupation finding. Bring that profile to your pre-offer conversation with your employer so the job description they draft mirrors the credential requirements consular officers expect to see.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Business Analyst role qualify as a specialty occupation under H-1B1 Chile?
Yes, but the job description has to show the role genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as information systems, finance, or applied mathematics. Generic titles like 'business analyst' covering broad administrative duties are harder to clear. Roles that center on data modeling, process analysis, or systems requirements typically satisfy the specialty occupation standard at the consulate.
How does the H-1B1 Chile visa compare to H-1B for Business Analysts?
H-1B1 Chile skips the lottery entirely, uses a 1,400-visa annual cap that rarely approaches its limit, and is processed directly at the consulate rather than through a USCIS petition. The tradeoff is that H-1B1 Chile does not confer dual intent, so you can't use it as a direct stepping stone to a green card the way an approved H-1B petition can be paired with an I-140.
How do I find Business Analyst employers who will sponsor an H-1B1 Chile visa?
Use Migrate Mate to search for Business Analyst roles filtered by H-1B1 Chile filing history. Most employers familiar with general H-1B sponsorship have never filed an H-1B1 Chile LCA, so targeting companies that have done it before significantly reduces the time you spend educating hiring managers and legal teams about the visa category.
What documents does my employer need to file the LCA for my Business Analyst role?
Your employer files the LCA through the DOL's FLAG system before you apply at the consulate. They'll need a detailed job description aligned with the Business Analyst SOC code, the work location, the start date, and wage information meeting the DOL prevailing wage for that metro area. The LCA certification typically takes around seven business days once submitted.
Can I change employers after I enter the U.S. on an H-1B1 Chile visa?
You can change employers, but H-1B1 Chile does not carry H-1B portability rights. Your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you will likely need to return to the consulate for a new visa stamp before starting. Build that timeline into any offer negotiation so your new employer's legal team starts the LCA process before you give notice.
