H-1B1 Singapore Visa Relationship Manager Jobs
Relationship Manager roles qualify for H-1B1 Singapore visa sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Unlike H-1B visa, there's no lottery and the 5,400-visa annual cap rarely fills, so qualified Singaporean professionals can apply directly at the U.S. consulate without waiting for a selection cycle.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Visa Sponsorship as a Relationship Manager
Verify your degree maps to the role
H-1B1 visa eligibility requires a direct connection between your degree field and the Relationship Manager duties. A finance or business degree strengthens your case; a degree in an unrelated field may prompt additional documentation from your employer.
Target banks with active LCA filing histories
Search DOL's OFLC Wage Search for certified Labor Condition Applications filed under 'Relationship Manager' to identify U.S. employers already familiar with H-1B1 visa sponsorship. Employers with prior LCA filings move faster through the process.
Find H-1B1 sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings by verified H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history so you're not cold-applying to employers unfamiliar with the visa. Search by role and location to shortlist employers who've filed LCAs for comparable positions.
Request the LCA before accepting an offer
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before you can apply at the consulate. Confirm your offer letter includes a commitment to file, and ask for the certified LCA number before you book your visa appointment.
Check prevailing wage levels for your location
The LCA must certify your salary meets DOL prevailing wage standards for Relationship Manager roles in your specific metro area. Use OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level before negotiating your offer so you know the floor.
Prepare a specialty occupation evidence packet
Consular officers may question whether Relationship Manager qualifies as a specialty occupation. Bring your degree transcripts, an O*NET occupation profile for the role, and your employer's written job description detailing the degree requirement.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Relationship Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B1 Singapore purposes?
Yes, if the position genuinely requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as finance, business administration, or economics. Generic management roles where any degree suffices may not qualify. Your employer's job description should explicitly state the degree requirement, and the O*NET occupation profile for Relationship Managers supports the specialty occupation classification.
How does the H-1B1 Singapore visa compare to H-1B for Relationship Manager positions?
The H-1B1 Singapore visa has no lottery and no USCIS petition filing, which means you apply directly at the U.S. consulate in Singapore after your employer secures a certified LCA from DOL. H-1B requires a USCIS petition and lottery selection before consular processing. For Singaporean nationals, the H-1B1 path is faster and more predictable for Relationship Manager roles.
Which employers sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas for Relationship Manager roles?
Commercial banks, wealth management firms, and financial services companies are the most consistent sponsors for Relationship Manager roles. Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for employers with verified H-1B1 visa LCA filing histories for this role, so you can focus your applications on companies already set up to sponsor rather than educating employers from scratch.
How long does H-1B1 Singapore consular processing take for this role?
Once your employer has a DOL-certified LCA, the consular appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore is typically the main variable. Interview scheduling wait times fluctuate, but H-1B1 visa processing at the consulate is generally faster than waiting for USCIS adjudication on an H-1B petition. Check the U.S. Embassy Singapore's appointment availability directly through USCIS for current timelines.
Can my H-1B1 Singapore visa be renewed if I stay in the same Relationship Manager role?
H-1B1 visas are granted in one-year increments and can be renewed indefinitely as long as you maintain qualifying employment. Each renewal requires a fresh LCA certification from DOL. There's no cap on renewals, so Singaporean professionals in ongoing Relationship Manager positions can continue renewing without re-entering any lottery or USCIS petition queue.
