H-1B1 Singapore Visa Transporter Jobs
Transporter jobs with H-1B1 Singapore visa sponsorship are open to Singaporean nationals under the U.S.-Singapore Free Trade Agreement. There's no lottery, the 5,400 annual cap rarely fills, and your application goes directly to the consulate, not through USCIS, making the path to a U.S. Transporter role more predictable than most work visas.

INTRODUCTION
Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges? You’ve come to the right place.
YOUR IMPACT
You will play a senior leadership role in shaping and delivering AI-enabled transformation for leading freight and passenger transportation companies, logistics providers, port and terminal operators, parcel and express networks, and others across the distribution value chain. You will work with QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, teams that are small, flexible, and focused on building scalable, production-ready AI solutions that deliver real business outcomes - partnering closely with McKinsey client service teams from strategy through implementation.
Transportation and logistics leaders are operating in an environment defined by volatility - demand swings, capacity constraints, labor challenges, service expectations, and increasing pressure to improve resilience. In this role, you will work with McKinsey client service teams to counsel clients, shape their AI agendas, and architect AI acceleration and transformation programs - then lead delivery so the work shows up in day-to-day operations and commercial performance.
What that looks like in practice:
* Assess data and tech maturity across network, operations, maintenance, and commercial systems (often fragmented across legacy platforms, control towers, and operational tools), and translate that into a practical path to scale.
* Lead high-impact AI delivery for operations and asset-intensive environments - solutions that improve reliability, throughput, and cost (e.g., forecasting and capacity planning, routing and dispatch optimization, ETA prediction and exception management, terminal/yard productivity, preventive maintenance, workforce scheduling).
* Set technical direction and co-create the architecture - leading technical design workshops with client leaders, aligning on key tradeoffs (speed vs. robustness, central vs. federated data, model complexity vs. operational usability), and ensuring solutions are production-grade and governable.
* Drive adoption and operational embed - building the operating rhythms, measurement approach, and change plan so solutions are used by dispatchers, planners, commercial teams, and frontline leaders, not just tested in pilots.
* Develop talent and raise the bar - apprenticing and mentoring high-performing QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey practitioners across Transportation & Logistics, and building teams that can move quickly without compromising quality.
You’ll work within the Travel, Logistics and Infrastructure (TLI) and QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey practice, closely with senior leaders across our global TLI practice and directly with senior clients on topics related to digital, technology, and advanced analytics. You will be part of the senior leadership team helping clients deliver material value from digital and analytics assets - overseeing multiple deployments and leading large, complex, high-profile sessions on findings and implications.
YOUR GROWTH
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues—at all levels—will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you'll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won’t find anywhere else.
When you join us, you will have:
* Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. The real magic happens when you take the input from others to heart and embrace the fast-paced learning experience, owning your journey.

You’ll make a tangible impact by offering innovative ideas and practical solutions, all while upholding our unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity. We not only encourage diverse perspectives, but they are critical in driving us toward the best possible outcomes.
* Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm’s diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions for our clients. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
* World-class benefits: On top of a competitive salary (based on your location, experience, and skills), we provide a comprehensive benefits package to enable holistic well-being for you and your family.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

-
Experience designing and scaling modern AI solutions, including production-grade machine learning, generative AI, and agentic or workflow-embedded AI approaches that augment or automate complex business decisions

Verify your role meets specialty occupation criteria
Transporter roles that qualify for H-1B1 visa sponsorship must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Check the O*NET occupation profile for your specific transporter classification to confirm the degree requirement before applying.
Request an LCA before your start date
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL and receive certification before your H-1B1 consular appointment. Confirm this step is underway early, LCA certification typically takes seven business days but can delay your timeline if the employer hasn't started.
Search employers using Migrate Mate's H-1B1 data
Filter for Transporter roles at companies with documented H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application filings by occupation, so you can target employers who've sponsored this visa for comparable roles rather than guessing.
Confirm your employer is E-Verify enrolled
H-1B1 sponsoring employers must participate in E-Verify to legally hire you. Ask during the offer stage whether the company is enrolled. If they aren't, they'll need to register before DOL certifies the LCA, which adds lead time to your start date.
Prepare your Singaporean credentials for U.S. equivalency review
Consular officers assess whether your Singapore polytechnic diploma or degree satisfies the U.S. specialty occupation standard. Obtain official transcripts, a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator, and documentation linking your qualification to the specific Transporter role.
Use the OFLC Wage Search to benchmark prevailing wage before negotiating
DOL requires your employer to pay at least the prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Run the OFLC Wage Search using the correct Standard Occupational Classification code for your Transporter role before your offer discussion so you can flag any shortfall.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Transporter role qualify as a specialty occupation for the H-1B1 Singapore visa?
It depends on the specific duties and the employer's minimum education requirement. H-1B1 sponsorship requires the role to demand at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Transporter positions in logistics technology, medical transport coordination, or supply chain management are more likely to qualify than general driving roles. Review the O*NET profile for your exact occupation code to assess eligibility before pursuing applications.
How does the H-1B1 Singapore visa compare to the H-1B for Transporter roles?
The H-1B visa1 Singapore visa skips the lottery entirely and processes at the U.S. consulate in Singapore rather than through USCIS petition review. The 5,400 annual cap for Singaporean nationals has never been reached, so timing isn't a constraint the way it is for H-1B. The trade-off is that H-1B1 doesn't allow dual intent, meaning you can't use it as a direct pathway to permanent residency.
How do I find employers who sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas for Transporter jobs?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search. It filters job listings by employers with verified H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history, using DOL Labor Condition Application data by occupation and location. This lets you focus on companies that have already filed for comparable roles rather than applying broadly and asking about sponsorship late in the process.
Can my employer file the H-1B1 petition on my behalf from Singapore?
The H-1B1 process doesn't require a USCIS petition. Your employer files the Labor Condition Application with DOL, and once certified, you apply for the visa directly at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Singapore. This consular-based process is faster than the USCIS petition route used for H-1B and doesn't require your employer to navigate USCIS adjudication timelines.
What happens to my H-1B1 status if my Transporter job ends?
H-1B1 status is tied to the specific employer who sponsored you. If your job ends, you don't have an automatic grace period built into the H-1B1 the way H-1B holders receive a 60-day grace period under USCIS rules. You'd need to depart the U.S., change to another valid status, or secure a new employer willing to sponsor a fresh H-1B1 application before your authorized stay expires. Confirm the exact terms with your employer before your start date.
