H-2A Visa Vice President Jobs
Vice President roles with H-2A visa sponsorship exist at large agricultural operations managing multi-site seasonal workforces, where executive oversight of planting, harvesting, and labor compliance is a genuine operational need. H-2A requires positions to be temporary or seasonal, so sponsoring employers must document that the VP role ties directly to peak agricultural cycles, not year-round corporate functions.

Document your agricultural leadership credentials specifically
Gather records that tie your executive experience to seasonal operations: harvest cycle planning, H-2A visa workforce oversight, or crop-specific production targets. Generic VP credentials won't satisfy DOL's requirement that the role is genuinely agricultural in nature.
Target employers with established H-2A filing histories
Search OFLC disclosure data to identify agricultural employers who have sponsored H-2A workers at scale. Operations filing for 50 or more workers annually are structured enough to support an executive-level H-2A petition without building compliance capacity from scratch.
Search VP roles on Migrate Mate by H-2A sponsorship status
Migrate Mate filters agricultural job listings by verified H-2A sponsorship, so you're not guessing which employers will support an executive-level petition. Filtering by role type and seasonal operation category narrows results to relevant opportunities faster.
Confirm the role qualifies as seasonal before applying
DOL requires H-2A positions to be temporary or tied to a defined agricultural season. Ask employers directly whether the VP role is scoped to a specific cycle, such as a 9-month harvest season, and request documentation of prior seasonal VP filings if available.
Review the job order USCIS receives before signing anything
The H-2A job order filed with USCIS defines your duties, housing terms, and wage floor. Verify that the listed Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) matches what the employer verbally offered, and confirm housing is employer-provided at no cost to you, as required.
Use O*NET to align your resume to the approved occupation
Look up the agricultural manager or executive occupation code on O*NET and mirror its task language in your application materials. DOL reviewers cross-reference job descriptions against standard occupation definitions, and alignment reduces the risk of a wage or classification dispute.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Vice President jobs that offer H-2A visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find Vice President roles at agricultural employers actively offering H-2A sponsorship. Standard job boards don't filter by visa type or seasonal operation structure, so listings that appear relevant often turn out to be permanent corporate roles that don't qualify. Migrate Mate surfaces positions where H-2A sponsorship is confirmed, saving you from pursuing employers who can't legally support the petition.
What employer obligations come with H-2A sponsorship for a VP role?
Under H-2A, the sponsoring employer must provide free housing for the duration of your assignment, cover inbound and outbound transportation costs, and pay at least the Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) or the prevailing wage for the occupation, whichever is higher. These obligations apply regardless of job title, including executive roles. Employers must also carry workers' compensation coverage and file a valid job order with DOL before the petition reaches USCIS.
Can a Vice President role genuinely qualify as a seasonal H-2A position?
Yes, but the employer must demonstrate that the VP function is operationally tied to a defined agricultural season rather than a permanent corporate need. Large multi-site farming operations with peak harvest cycles that require executive-level workforce and compliance oversight have successfully sponsored H-2A VP roles. DOL will scrutinize whether the duties, duration, and timing align with a genuine seasonal agricultural need.
What happens to your H-2A status if the seasonal VP role ends early?
H-2A status is tied to the specific petition and employer. If the role ends before the authorized period, you're expected to depart the U.S. or transfer to a new qualifying petition. USCIS does not provide a formal grace period for H-2A workers equivalent to other nonimmigrant categories, so any gap between the early termination and a new petition needs to be managed carefully to avoid status violations.
