- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Support meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met with patience and care
- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities that encourage social interaction and mental stimulation
- Monitor health status by observing changes in physical or emotional condition and report findings promptly to healthcare professionals or supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols
- Document care provided accurately in records, including observations, activities performed, and any incidents or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to develop personalized care plans that reflect individual preferences and needs
Requirements
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to connect genuinely with residents or clients
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, or assisting with mobility safely
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members, residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Prior experience in caregiving or related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards consistently
- Current HCA or NAC certification
Shifts currently available are Eve and NOC shift, there is a set schedule, not rotating, and the shifts are 8 hours in length.
