Role Overview
The Bartender provides excellent service to all guests who approach the bar, prepare and pour drinks, and keep the bar area cleaned and stocked at all times as required by policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensures a seamless guest experience
- Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients such as wine, mixed drinks, specialty cocktails, shots and related bar service to guests at assigned stations.
- Expedites drink orders for each guest quickly and accurately. Serves refills upon request as well as follows up for additional beverage requirements.
- Possesses a keen sense of timing and is capable of discreetly speeding up or slowing down his/her station as necessary.
- Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes; keeps station stocked with all liquor, glasses and accessories necessary; accounts for all beginning cash register bank, all cash, complimentary drinks and charge receipts.
- Resourceful with beverages, fruit and supplies in order to maintain low beverage costs.
- Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
- Must possess the ability to initiate and maintain a relaxed and upbeat demeanor in a fast-paced environment with loud music and constant distractions.
- Communicates and works with all support staff to ensure bar is properly stocked and prepared for operations.
- Communicates and works with all support staff to ensure inventory is maintained at established par levels.

- Must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and able to multitask
- Must be a highly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at a time

- Maintains a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of two (2) year experience in a contemporary dining restaurant
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight (8)-hour shift and work inside assigned bar area in the venue.
- Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessary.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25-50 pounds.
- Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes.
Work Authorization
Must be able to provide documentation that shows you are authorized to work in the United States. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
Education / Experience / Credentials
Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in high-end, service-focused environment. It is the employee's responsibility to secure and maintain the current status of all required certificates, licenses, or registrations when required by local, state, or federal government agencies. ANSI approved Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service certificate recognized by the ABC.
