As the Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:

- Own Workday configuration and business process improvements across HCM, Compensation / Advanced Compensation, Talent / Performance, Reporting, Security, and related modules. Effectively build, maintain, and troubleshoot new or existing integrations.
- Provide production support by triaging, resolving, and preventing system issues.
- Design and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans for Workday configuration changes; manage defect tracking through resolution.
- Maintain security role assignments to ensure compliance and system integrity.
- Conduct training sessions on new system updates and changes while providing ongoing support to ensure user adoption and understanding of system functionality.

How do I get a hr consultant job in San Francisco?
Focus on the sectors that drive the most hiring in San Francisco: technology companies in SoMa and Mission Bay, healthcare systems in the Medical Center corridor, and financial services firms in the Financial District. Candidates with experience in HR business partnering, workforce planning, or compensation analysis stand out locally. Networking through SHRM's Bay Area chapter and targeting high-growth tech employers gives you a concrete edge in this market.
Which companies hire hr consultants in San Francisco?
San Francisco hr consultant roles are posted by Okta, Rippling, and Anthropic and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. The hiring mix skews toward large tech firms, regional healthcare networks, and professional services organizations with sizable Bay Area operations.
Are there remote hr consultant jobs in San Francisco?
Yes, though availability depends on the work involved, since advisory and project-based hr consultant roles tend to be more remote-friendly than embedded HR business partner positions. About 31% of hr consultant openings tied to San Francisco are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the tech sector's flexibility. Compensation analysis, policy development, and compliance consulting are the specialties most likely to allow fully remote arrangements.
How can I get a hr consultant job in San Francisco with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in San Francisco is through an HR coordinator or HR generalist role at a mid-size technology company or a regional healthcare system, both of which hire entry-level candidates and promote into consulting tracks. Internships at professional employer organizations and HR consulting boutiques headquartered in the Financial District or SoMa also build the client-service experience that distinguishes junior candidates locally. A SHRM-CP certification signals readiness even without years of direct experience.
Which industries hire the most hr consultants in San Francisco?
The sectors hiring the most hr consultants in San Francisco are Technology & Software, Science & Research, and Government & Public Sector, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026.
