We are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Business Planning Manager on the Apple TV Strategy & Planning team. Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Planning, this role leads the Business Planning & Operations pillar, ensuring low-risk planning cycles and executive readiness across the global streaming business.

The Business Planning Manager will oversee critical financial forecasting processes, budget management, and strategic operational planning that enables senior leadership to make informed decisions at pace.
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring someone who can operate seamlessly across Business, Finance, Analytics and Studio teams while maintaining the rigor and precision expected at the executive level. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, drives clarity through complex planning cycles, and builds systems that scale.
Responsibilities
- Oversee business planning for Apple TV across its various financial cycle throughout the fiscal year, including monthly Apple Exec Leadership presentations
- Partner with Finance for accurate forecasting, understanding drivers and metrics that impact subscriber and revenue growth
- Develop an intimate understanding of the Apple TV P&L and ways to increase margin
- Transform performance data into actionable insights that inform future strategic adjustments and operational improvements
- Track key leading indicators across Apple TV in order to have a strong grasp of the streamer metrics and their impact
- Partner with the Data Science & Analytics team to share a common understanding, develop rigorous dashboards and reporting while also working together to diagnose and provide recommendations
- Provide exec support and regular updates on performance and key metrics
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, business planning, strategy operations, or management consulting
- Proven track record delivering high-stakes planning cycles and executive-facing materials for senior leadership (VP level and above)
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting methodologies, and budget management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Exceptional executive communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial performance to strategic priorities
- Highly organized with superior project management skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in subscription-based or digital services businesses
- Background in entertainment, media, or technology industries
- Consulting (MBB) or investment banking experience
- Experience working in large, matrixed global organizations
- Familiarity with Apple's planning and finance systems
- Track record of process innovation and operational transformation
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence without authority
- MBA or advanced degree
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,500 and $274,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
