HR COORDINATOR AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The HR Coordinator supports their assigned business unit at PrimeFlight Aviation, providing essential administrative providing support to HR departments in various HR functions such as onboarding, new hire training and assisting with employee inquiries. As a functional member of the team, you will assist with a variety of HR duties as outlined below.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide essential administrative support to the HR department in various HR functions
- Assist in the recruitment process screening resumes, scheduling interviews, interviewing front line employees, coordinating the onboarding process to include badging credentials.
- Coordinate and schedule employee orientations, onboarding activities, and training sessions
- Maintain accurate and organized employee records and files, ensuring compliance with confidentiality policies
- Assist in benefits administration, including benefits enrollment, changes, and addressing employee inquiries
- Prepare and distribute HR-related communications and notices to employees
- Assist in maintaining and updating HR documentation, including policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Assist in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and grievance handling
- Support the performance appraisal process by tracking deadlines, preparing documentation, and assisting in the appraisal process
- Prepare employment verification letters and other HR-related correspondence as needed
- Coordinate and assist with employee recognition programs and initiatives
- Maintain HR databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Assist in HR compliance efforts by staying informed about labor laws and regulations
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs
- Assist with employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation
- Assist in workplace health and safety programs and compliance efforts
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless HR processes and communication
- Perform other HR-related tasks and duties as assigned to contribute to the efficient operation of the HR department
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Prior HR experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
