Job Summary
This internship is intended to provide a student with hands-on exposure to IT practices within a library setting. This experience will allow the student to connect academic concepts to real world computer and server operations while developing professional skills.
Job Duties:
- Respond to and resolve user-submitted help desk tickets for common issues.
- Help maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, and software licenses.
- Maintain and update IT documentation and knowledge-based articles.
- Participate in infrastructure maintenance tasks.
- Help in managing user accounts and permissions within the company’s Active Directory or similar directory services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be actively working on a degree within the IT field.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, ability to work independently and adapt seamlessly to fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Skilled in engaging and supporting students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word).

- Reliable transportation to travel in between branches required.
