As an Entry-Level Structural Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced Structural Engineers, Project Engineers, and industry experts to design innovative precast concrete building systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, and advanced manufacturing facilities.

Location: San Diego, California
Competitive Compensation:
$85,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the structural design of precast concrete building systems.
- Perform structural calculations and engineering analysis under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Learn the design of beams, columns, walls, floor systems, stairs, and other structural components.
- Develop engineering details, calculations, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Manufacturing, and Field Operations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in design meetings and solve real-world engineering challenges.
- Learn industry-leading structural analysis software and engineering tools.
- Visit manufacturing facilities and project sites to understand how designs are fabricated and installed.
- Support multiple projects while developing technical and project management skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
- EIT certification or the ability to obtain shortly after graduation.
- 0–3 years of structural engineering experience.
- Internship or co-op experience is a plus but not required.
- Passion for structural engineering and a desire to build a long-term career.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework in reinforced concrete, steel design, structural analysis, or seismic design.
- Experience with ETABS, RAM, RISA, SAP2000, or similar structural analysis software.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software.
- Interest in precast concrete design and construction.
