Junior Analyst Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a junior analyst job in Seattle?
Focus your search on South Lake Union's technology firms, the Financial District's banking and investment offices, and the healthcare systems anchored around First Hill and the University District. Candidates who stand out typically combine data fluency in Excel or SQL with an understanding of one of those core Seattle industries. Internships or co-ops with local firms, even short-term ones, carry real weight with hiring managers here.
Which companies hire junior analysts in Seattle?
Seattle junior analyst roles are posted by PAE Consulting Engineers, Bosch, and Ardurra and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. The Seattle market draws a mix of large enterprise employers in technology and logistics alongside regional banks, health systems, and consulting boutiques that recruit junior analysts year-round.
Are there remote junior analyst jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though availability depends on the role type. About 85% of junior analyst openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with the flexibility concentrated in data, finance, and business operations roles. On-site work is more common in healthcare and operations-heavy positions where analysts support teams directly.
How can I get a junior analyst job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is targeting analyst associate or junior data roles at mid-size technology and fintech companies in South Lake Union and the Eastside, which regularly hire candidates with strong quantitative coursework but limited professional history. University of Washington co-op programs and local analyst rotational programs at regional banks are also concrete on-ramps. Proficiency in SQL and a portfolio project tied to a Seattle-relevant industry, such as e-commerce or logistics, helps candidates compete against more experienced applicants.
