The Role in Action
Drive Personal Performance (40%)
- Actively contribute to store goals by understanding and driving key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Agrees and actions a personalized SMART monthly commercial plan with their Store Manager in which targets are broken down into weekly and daily goals
- Utilize data and insights to continuously optimize performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Share innovative ideas to enhance traffic, conversion, and customer loyalty
- The master of storytelling, connect with customers and understand their needs and projecting products into their world
- Craft the exceptional and personalized customer journey with Aesop’s unique approach, from a warm welcome and genuine engagement to thoughtful product demonstrations and regimen building
- Confidently lead customers to the sink/fragrance area with their hands, body and words and demonstrates recommended products on the customer’s hand
- Ensure a memorable departure and build lasting relationship, through attentive service, offer full regimens to provided samples and conclude the interaction with a warm invitation to return
- Embody Aesop's values in all actions, seeking support for continuous improvement.
- Proactively complete your retail induction and ongoing learning pathways (Methodos).
- Prioritize practicing and refining your customer experience capabilities, especially during quieter periods.

- Adhere to Aesop’s grooming guidelines and uphold our retail standards, ensuring the "five senses" experience is consistently delivered.
- Diligently complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks.
- Experience successfully working as part of a customer-focused team, ideally within retail or hospitality, with a keen eye for detail in selling and delivering tailored experiences.
- A merchant mindset, both customer-focused and commercially driven
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in tactile product demonstrations.
- A deep passion for selling premium products and an excitement for Aesop's offerings, including skincare and fragrance.
- Flexible scheduling availability, including the capacity to work 5 full days per week with at least one guaranteed weekend day.
- Physical Environment: Must be able to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis
- Hourly rate $21.75
- Monthly Incentive Program - eligible for Monthly Incentive Program based on sales performance for the month
- Time Off - eligible for vacation, depending on locality eligible for Paid Time Off or Paid Sick Leave (allotments also dependent on local laws)
