Maxwell Products is looking for a meticulous individual to be our Lab Operations Support Technician to help manage quality control and contribute to our growing success in pavement maintenance solutions.
Schedule:
Part-time, Flexible hours with a consistent weekly schedule, Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities include
- Perform laboratory testing according to established procedures and quality standards
- Accurately record, organize, and maintain test data and laboratory documentation
- Support routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Maintain safe working conditions and a clean, orderly work area at all times
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 1-3 year experience in a chemical, materials, construction materials, or related laboratory environment preferred
- Strong commitment to quality and integrity
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good Windows-based computer skills are a necessity
- Must be able to monitor and prioritize daily work assignments without supervision
- Must be able to recognize unsatisfactory analytical performance and suggest appropriate corrective actions
- Must have a strong commitment to ensuring all work is completed within prescribed deadlines
- Must be able to effectively perform duties under pressure arising from large sample volumes and short turn-around times
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
