Learning And Development Jobs in Dallas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a learning and development job in Dallas?
Focus your search on Dallas's largest employer clusters: the major health systems along the Medical District, financial services firms in Uptown, and corporate headquarters in Las Colinas and Frisco. Candidates who stand out locally combine instructional design or eLearning platform skills with experience in large-scale onboarding programs. Familiarity with the tech tools common in enterprise Dallas environments, such as learning management systems and performance consulting frameworks, gives a meaningful edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire learning and developments in Dallas?
Employers hiring learning and developments in Dallas right now include Copart, Hilltop Holdings, and CBRE, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Dallas's mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional hospital networks, and large financial services operations means steady demand across both dedicated L&D teams and HR generalist roles with a training focus.
Are there remote learning and development jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though availability varies by role type: curriculum design and eLearning development are frequently remote, while facilitation and in-person training roles remain largely on-site. About 50% of learning and development openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of October 2026, with the strongest remote options at Dallas-based technology and financial services companies managing distributed workforces.
How can I get a learning and development job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Dallas is through training coordinator or HR specialist roles at the city's large healthcare systems and corporate retailers, which regularly hire candidates without deep L&D backgrounds. Volunteer facilitation with Dallas nonprofits or community college workforce programs builds a local portfolio. Earning a foundational credential in instructional design and targeting entry-level learning specialist postings at mid-size companies in Plano or Irving broadens your options without requiring senior experience.
Which industries hire the most learning and developments in Dallas?
Dallas learning and development roles concentrate in Construction & Real Estate, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Dallas's density of corporate headquarters, regional bank operations, and major health networks creates consistent L&D hiring across all three sectors, with particularly strong volume tied to compliance training, leadership development, and large-scale workforce onboarding programs.
