Job Summary
ProSolvent Legal Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support the daily operations of our growing law firm. Responsibilities include administrative and legal support, client communication, file management, real estate closing coordination, and general office administration.
This is a part-time hybrid position based in Homewood, Alabama. The position includes an initial in-office training period before transitioning to a hybrid schedule.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional client service.
Client Services
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct client intake and schedule consultations.
- Coordinate client onboarding and offboarding.
- Maintain professional communication with clients throughout their matters.
- Respond to general inquiries and direct matters appropriately.
Legal & Real Estate Closing Support
- Open and maintain legal and real estate closing files.
- Coordinate residential and commercial real estate closings.
- Prepare, organize, and distribute legal documents.
- Maintain case files and monitor deadlines.
- Assist with document management and legal research as assigned.
Office Administration
- Manage attorney calendars and scheduling.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain electronic filing systems.
- Assist with general administrative and operational tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- College Degee Preferred
- Proficiency with frequent use of technology
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Law firm, title company, or real estate office experience preferred.
Work Environment
- Part-time, hybrid position (in-office and remote).
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace required for remote work.
