Mid Level Logistics Coordinator Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level logistics coordinator job?
Position yourself by leading with ownership: highlight shipments you managed independently, carriers you negotiated with, and problems you resolved without escalation. Tailor your resume to show process improvements, cross-functional coordination, and measurable outcomes like on-time delivery rates or cost reductions. Mid level job postings typically expect comfort with transportation management systems, so name the platforms you have used directly in your application.
Which companies hire mid level logistics coordinators?
Companies hiring mid level logistics coordinators right now include Primoris Services Corporation, The Guitar Center Company, and UNC Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this experience level, hiring comes from a mix of national retailers, third-party logistics providers, and manufacturers that need coordinators who can manage volume independently rather than under close supervision.
Are there remote mid level logistics coordinator jobs?
Yes, though the role often requires some on-site presence depending on the operation type. About 8% of mid level logistics coordinator openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the strongest remote availability in roles focused on vendor communication, order tracking, and documentation rather than warehouse floor coordination.
How do I move up to a mid level logistics coordinator role?
Growth from entry level into mid level comes from progressively owning more of the logistics cycle: moving from executing tasks to managing entire shipment lanes, building carrier relationships, and catching exceptions before they escalate. Coordinators who document measurable impact, such as reducing transit delays or cutting accessorial charges, and who take on cross-departmental projects tend to make the jump faster than those who stay in a narrow task lane.
Which industries hire the most mid level logistics coordinators?
Mid Level logistics coordinator roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Distribution & Wholesale, and Music, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they move high volumes of goods through complex, multi-leg supply chains that require experienced coordinators capable of managing exceptions and vendor relationships without constant oversight.
