Your Responsibilities
The Senior Demand Planner reports to the Logistics Group Leader. This role involves optimizing logistics through capacity analysis, production scheduling, and inventory management, while monitoring supplier performance and delivery accuracy. Responsibilities include real-time adjustments to procurement plans, staff training on planning tools, and providing SAP support. The position also focuses on refining processes to improve efficiency, eliminate waste, and ensure customer satisfaction, while assisting with supplier management and tracking KPIs for inventory and sales performance.

Specific Responsibilities of the Job
- Perform capacity analyses and loading configurations based upon finite capacity guidance, and ensure proper coordination of all logistics processes and procedures;
- Analyze production scheduling, to encompass daily, monthly, and annual demand, and monitor tracking of incoming deliveries of supplies and raw materials from suppliers;
- Monitor suppliers performance and suppliers delivery accuracy as compared to previously proposed plan;
- Conduct inventory analyses, including developing projections and controls and provide sales projections based on customer requirements and availability of raw materials;
- Assist the Accounting Department relative to supplier invoices and customer credits.
- Regular review and refine processes based on performance metrics to adapt to demand changes and increase efficiency;
- Identify and eliminate waste in processes involving overproduction, unnecessary transportation, defects and excess inventory;
- Develop KPIs and individual targets related to customer satisfaction, inventory levels and sales achievement, monitor the results and present action plans for the deviations, identify root causes of deviations, measure progress and tendency;
- Analyze demand forecast based on historical sales data and customer orders;
- Ensure real-time adjustments in procurement plan based on demand change and resource availability;
- Lead initiatives to identify and communicate potential customer delivery delays or raw material shortages;
- Conduct inventories analysis, projection and control according with the company goals for assigned accounts;
- Ensures on-time deliveries to customers;
- Ensures raw material and supplies transportation ETA to support delivery plan;
- Assists production in meeting customer requirements;
- Maintain department KPIs related to sales and inventories on track.

Qualifications

Education/Credentials/Certifications
Associate’s degree in Logistics or Logistics Technology, Supply Chain Management, or closely related field of study, or foreign equivalent degree. -
Length of Experience
Minimum 2 year experience in any of the following related areas: shipping, receiving, materials planning or procurement. -
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Basic mathematical ability
- Excellent reasoning and problem solving skills
- Ability to cope with changes
- Excellent organizational skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Strong computer skills and Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience with SAP is preferred
