How do I get a maintenance technician job in Tempe?
Focus your search on Tempe's multifamily residential complexes along the Tempe Town Lake corridor, the hospitality properties near Arizona State University, and the light industrial parks off Price Road and Elliot Road. Property management companies and hotel operators hire frequently and often prefer candidates with HVAC or electrical troubleshooting experience. The local market includes a mix of apartment communities, hotel brands, commercial property managers, and manufacturing facilities, all of which hire maintenance staff on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Remote work is rare for maintenance technicians because the role is fundamentally hands-on and tied to a physical facility. About 0% of maintenance technician openings tied to Tempe are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those tend to be supervisory, facilities coordination, or maintenance planning roles rather than traditional repair and upkeep positions.
How can I get a maintenance technician job in Tempe with little or no experience?
