The Role
As Senior Manager, Pre-Sales you support complex software sales cycles by delivering compelling product demonstrations, responding to technical and functional requirements, and building reusable pre-sales assets. You combine solid product knowledge with strong client-facing skills to accelerate pipeline conversion — working across direct client engagements, partner-supported opportunities and industry events.
What You Will Do:
Pre-sales support and solution delivery
- Support the end-to-end pre-sales process for assigned opportunities: discovery, demos, RFP responses, solution scoping and proposal preparation.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations to mid-level and senior client stakeholders, translating features into business value.
- Facilitate client workshops to identify requirements, validate fit and shape the solution approach.
- Prepare written responses to RFPs, RFIs and security questionnaires in coordination with product, legal and delivery teams.
- Support proof-of-concept engagements; document outcomes and feed learnings back into the pre-sales playbook.
Partner and event support
- Support channel and technology partners in pre-sales engagements: provide product demonstrations and technical guidance, build their confidence in positioning the solution, and assist on partner-led opportunities when additional pre-sales depth is required.
- Support the business at industry events and trade shows: deliver product demonstrations for event audiences, engage prospects and clients on-site with relevant use cases, and document leads and follow-up actions promptly after each event.
Asset development and enablement
- Develop and maintain reusable pre-sales materials: demo scripts, solution blueprints, proposal modules, competitive battle cards and ROI templates.
- Stay current on product updates, competitive landscape and industry trends; share insights with the broader sales team.
- Contribute to the onboarding of new team members on product and solution knowledge.
Collaboration and reporting
- Work closely with the sales lead and AD Pre-Sales to align on opportunity strategy and solution approach.
- Maintain accurate records of pre-sales activities and solution configurations; support pipeline reporting as required.
- Participate in win/loss reviews and apply learnings to improve proposal quality and demo effectiveness.
PRODUCT AND INDUSTRY FIT
- Senior-level pre-sales role focused on solution shaping and client engagement for a route-to-market product suite across Consumer Goods & Services and adjacent industries such as retail, pharmaceuticals, durable goods, and distribution-led businesses
- Requires deep functional expertise in field sales automation, order management, van sales, pre-sell processes, distribution and territory management, retail execution, journey planning, and in-store compliance
- Ability to articulate end-to-end business scenarios covering route planning, field execution, order capture, promotional compliance, delivery confirmation, and performance reporting
- Acts as a trusted advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders, including enterprise architects and commercial systems leaders
- Translates complex business requirements into scalable, integrated solution architectures spanning ERP platforms, warehouse management systems, promotional planning tools, retailer ecosystems, and enterprise data platforms
- Strong understanding of offline-first mobile architectures, including synchronization strategies, conflict resolution, background processing, low-bandwidth optimization, and field resilience mechanisms
- Designs master data frameworks for customer hierarchies, product catalogues, pricing, promotions, and territory structures, along with enterprise deployment readiness and governance
- Defines compliance and verification capabilities including regulatory workflows, audit trails, image-based validation, and field assurance processes
- Leverages analytics and BI integration to deliver insights such as KPI tracking, call effectiveness, promotional uplift, and execution compliance
- Integrates AI across the solution lifecycle, including generative AI for guided selling and content generation, predictive AI for demand forecasting and next-best-action recommendations, computer vision for shelf and planogram compliance, and intelligent automation for route optimization and anomaly detection

Here's What You Need:
- Minimum 8+ years of pre-sales, solution consulting or technical sales support experience in enterprise software including a track record of contributing to complex sales opportunities, including RFP responses and solution demonstrations.
- Minimum 8+ years of enterprise software delivery models (SaaS, license, managed services) and integration approaches.
- Minimum 12 months of demonstrated experience supporting pre-sales for AI-native software products — solutions built on LLMs, agentic workflows or machine learning platforms — with evidence of demos delivered or RFP contributions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
