About the Role

As a Quality and Food Safety Lead, you will champion operational excellence by overseeing manufacturing standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding product integrity and consumer safety while fostering a culture of quality across the production floor.

Responsibilities

- Design and execute comprehensive quality management policies to ensure consistent adherence to safety and production standards.
- Lead the development and maintenance of GFSI and SQF certification systems to meet rigorous industry requirements.
- Conduct thorough sanitation and quality audits, driving corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve process efficiency.
- Facilitate cross-functional training programs to empower employees with the knowledge required for GMP and food safety compliance.
- Analyze process data to identify trends, resolve quality complaints, and implement preventative controls.
- Spearhead continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing workflows and environmental compliance.
- Manage external and internal communications regarding quality metrics, audit findings, and customer inquiries.

Qualifications

Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience in manufacturing quality control.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management or a similar leadership capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of SQF systems, food safety fundamentals, and regulatory audit processes.
- Proven ability to make high-stakes decisions regarding quality discipline and process improvements.
